My partner did the same thing when I wanted to know if it was a boy or girl because I couldn't see. The midwife asked him to check for me and he was pretty much in shock saying "A girl...?" "No dad, thats a boy!" 😂 He had one job..

I think dad was commenting on baby's hair and features... it looked like a boy to him. Maybe not what he expected a baby girl to look like 😂 Dad's reaction is too wholesome! Congrats!

My sister and i were pregnant at the same time we both already had a daughter so we were hoping for a boy. Ultrasound showed we were both having big boys and indeed had a son 6wks early he weighed 8lbs 10oz she had a girl a week late weighing barely 7lbs she wore a lot of blue/boy clothes for a while lol

Well, external genitalia on both little boys and little girls is very puffy, swollen, and distended because of all the trauma they've been through for the past few hours so it is hard to differentiate in the very beginning. Daddy doesn't really know how to tell at this point.

I had my 1st baby before all this gender reveal nonsense . Back in '79 and Dad was saying " its a BOY"!!! The burses were saying "Its a GIRL" .... I was most impolite and simply demanded " OPEN ITS LEGS"!!!!! Thus revealing our 1st born was our baby daughter.LOL. 1yr later I miscarried another baby daughter and another yr later our baby son was born.

Please stop praising these people who are using their children for attention, likes and views. These children deserve privacy. Not having a camera in their faces all day so their parents can offer them up to strangers and predators to gawk at. You wouldn't take your children to a park where predators watch children, so why would you post them on the internet for predators? It's weird to want validation from strangers and predators. Some people can't or can't yet, and baby eating matters more than stressing over it. Maybe baby isn't latching, and again, baby eating matters more than spending all your efforts on getting them to latch. Maybe breast milk is in the bottle, and mom is resting. There are many reasons that are the business of the parents.

My Dad did the same when I was born. He argued with the nurses through the window in 1968. The nurse spread my legs apart to prove I was a girl. He laughed as you did!!
