High watched your video i have brickwell controller like the one you tested works ok but when i turn it of fans will not kool it down just shuts everything off i need help if you can thanks

My daughter just got the King Ashley 5500m and everything works great but the Auger isht feeding enough pellets to keep not going. Zero option for it to dump more pellets arva time to keep it fully going. Eventually burning out and shutting down. No thimb screw to adjust on the inside where the auger is inside the hopper. Ivevtryed different heat settings (keeping the blower 1 above the heat setting) Anyone have a solution?

One of the small screws stripped on the dang metal piece that screws the hoses into the side of the carb I’ve been debating just drilling it out and making a new hole but it’s a lot of work for this little 7.5

No Dipstick... just a standard Briggs and Stratton oil cap. Double check, but I think that the manual for that engine call for just under one Quart of oil.

please help i cannot get my brand new breckwell big E pellet stove to turn back on ran it for 2 hours, shut it off for a while (cold to the touch) turned it back on it ran for 3 seconds then nothing not even a light on my control panel ,no green blinking light, nothing

WHY does NO ONE EVER go over which settings with which levels? I appreciate the video, but it's so frustrating. I've had mine for years and the man who sold it to me said the fan doesn't come on until it's hot enough. That's how my old Breckwell works anyway. I vacuum it out every few days in winter & keep it on setting 1 to save pellets & add to the oil heat, but it just went out after 15 min of startup and is blinking 3.

I still do, but.. for the AcuTrons, it really depends on what the symptoms are.. if it is DEAD, there is no bringing it back to life.

Igniter shorted the board path on the board. Everything still works except Igniter.

We have a Breckwell Series P24FS and are requesting help to possibly get it working again. We have used it for 22+ years and while replacing some items - the service person may have either messed up with the wiring or controller. If you can contact us that would be incredible. Found one by the side of the road. Cracked and punched in mower deck, won't start. Gonna weld up the cracks and pound it with a hammer, then break the crankshaft nut off (if I have to) to remove and service the motor. 🤞

An impact wrench should easily remove the crankshaft nut.

@@MonteStudios I think it's rust welded. I'll soak it in penetrating oil and blast it with a torch. I don't have an impact wrench, but I've tried an impact driver (it's snapped bolt heads off, so it's decently powerful) and it didn't break it.

I have a USSC King 5500M pellet stove with this type of controller. Do you know if it can be easily updated with the newer style controller, or any more common controller?

I am not knowledgeable enough to answer your question correctly since I don't know exactly the type sensors in your stove and their requirements. I have not done this in the past.

Thanks for the video! Do you know if this box will cycle the auger motor durning normal operation (once 1100 deg is reached)? I know some models do, but mine seems to run continuously once a call for heat is sent. Thanks again!

That model controller will not cycle the auger motor once the red light has come on. It drives the motor using a mechanical relay, and that relay would wear-out in no time doing cycling.

One quick question just so I understand: in your video, when first putting power to the controller, the exhaust fan power light comes on as well as the convection fan light. The convection fan always has power and is switched on and off via a snap disk? When powered up initially, with no call for heat from the thermostat, the exhaust fan will run for 15 or so minutes and then shut off? Is this correct? In other words, the light for the exhaust fan would have gone (after 15 mins) out leaving only the convection fan light on. (in a power on but no cal for heat condition) Thank you!

Not true if reset when burning. Stove shuts down shut blower off. Don't do when burning!

I have not.. err9 is the highest I've seen.. I'll bet that it is not listed in your manual either. Contact USSC support to see if they can offer a clue on what the error means.

I have a american harvest 6100 had 2 questions 1. is there a corn setting and pellet setting that can be switched. 2. My heat range settings only go up to 3 is that normal or is way i can reset it. Thank u bought it used and still learning

Yes.. just now that err9 is a component failure on the main controller board.

I have a Whitefield advantage ii-T control board that doesn't cycle threw auger mode. When you turn on auger motor switch the light goes dim and control board smells like it is getting hot. Unplugged auger motor and light turns on and stays on bright. I Checked the volts coming to the auger motor and it is around 86 volts all the time. Motor check out fine. Would you be Interested in repairing this for me?

Thank you so much for this great video. I’m wondering if you already answered this: I just replaced my exhaust blower fan. When I plug it into 120v outlet, the exhaust fan starts spinning immediately even with the control board switch in the off position. I am not sure how to fix this issue.

Hi Adam.. about our exhaust blower running all the time.. Can you share why you replaced the blower in the first place? When was the last time you knew it to be correct? For sure, the OFF switch on the control panel (lower right) should switch the fan power OFF and cause it to stop spinning. There are a number of components that can fail on the control board that can cause this to happen. You can call or TXT me at 971-724-4115 and we can discuss further.

Unfortunately, this is nothing but bad news for you...Those controllers are very fragile, ad NO Power indicates the the micro-controller has failed (typically killed by an electrical event). The is nothing I can do to repair units tat are completely dead. Sorry.

Hello, our pellet stove is having a problem with its automatic feeder. Whenever we want to use our room heater we have to manually feed the stove to keep the heat going. Is there a way you could help us? Auger light indicator is working, combustion fan is also working. But the automatic feed is not.
