I am loving your videos! Just watched the Hunter Tome one too. I appreciate that they are little bites of great information instead of longer full of too much info type videos.

Yeah it’s a long grind for some of them but thankfully those long ones are account bound …which I know doesn’t help much for most… how many people other than myself have multiple hunters on their accounts lol 😂

I went to where you said and got the Tomb of Bone Binding in less than 5 minutes. I taught my engineer the mecha bond matrix but still ended up buying it from the AH because I didn't want to farm the blood. Thank you for helping!

One thing to add, depending on the race you choose to make your hunter(s), you will be allowed to tame pets that require these book effects for free. Undead, can tame undead pets Pandas can tame cloud serpents Gnomes/mechagnomes can tame mechanical pets Zandalari trolls can tame direhorns I am pretty sure that Dracthyr can tame dragonoids. I'm not 100% sure because I had gotten the book before the class roster was expanded for those guys.

Hmm that’s a good suggestion I didn’t think about that. I cant edit the video at this point but I can add a note to the time stamps so you can find them easier if that helps.

It's important to add that for the cloud serpents you also need the ability to tame lesser dragonkin, bc they are in that family. Same for the Vorkin, they are listed under stags but you also need lesser dragonkin-ability. And for the stags from Bastion/ Shadowlands you need Feathermanes-ability first. I don't know why they are making things that much complicated.

Yes there is also the forgotten gryphon which I will be making a video on that shortly. But it needs both the hybrid beast and the tome of bone binding. Thank you for posting this added info was hard to cover it all when I wanted to make the video short lol 😂

Blizzard really needs to streamline the tames being character specific vs account wide. Warbands are a thing now, make it all acc wide blizz!

Ottuk tome completion. The add-on doesn’t seem to recognize the completion of this quest line. I completed it on my paladin ran the helper. It still came up “NO”. However, I was able to log onto my hunter and tame a pet in the Plains. Ran the helper again and it still came up “NO”. Anyone else noticed this or have any further difficulties with future taming of these pets?

Ah yes that is a weird situation but I just confirmed the quest is repeatable on multiple characters. The add-on is only reading what your current hunter has so even though the quest reward for Ottuk taming was unlocked when you did the quest on your pally you haven’t done the quest on your hunter I’m assuming so the Addon is showing no. If you do the quest again even though you have it technically unlocked already it will show correctly because it’s tracking if the quest is done not the actual ability I believe. I hope that clarifies since the Ottuk unlock is completely different than ALL the other tomes for whatever reason. Like just give us a book bliz lol 😂

I remember before war within came out the ottuk taming was bugged for me and i couldnt tame any ottuks until a new patch came, i dont remember what patch it was

The Tome of Dinomancy is bugged on Earthen & Dracthyr. They cannot learn it.

For the tome of hybrid beast, wasnt it that you also needed to complete the achievement breaching the reach? Or did they change it to only class hall campaign completion?

That is a great question that I cannot find specific answer on and I have not finished it myself a second time yet “in the process for a different video”. But I will look into this further. I also kind of mentally lumped in getting the class hall mount with competing the campaign when technically they are different. The old requirements are Complete. A Glorious Campaign. Complete. Breaching the Tomb. Complete Night of the Wilds to acquire the. Trust of a Loyal Wolfhawk class mount. Purchase a Tome of the Hybrid Beast from Pan the Kind Hand in Trueshot Lodge for 1000 Order Resources. I’ll add this to the description for now and pin this comment so others can find it. Great question thank you for pointing that out.

You need to finish breaching the tomb once per account. If you already completed it with another character you won't need to complete it again for the other order halls.

how goes the farming on the bronze tokens? i just finished my 100 token cheezment making it ridic easy to farm up the rest of em. just throw alts at worl bauses (in my case at kazzak for his damn pet)

Yeah the tokens got crazy easy after 100 seems like a silly gate keep thing why not just have it that way from the beginning lol. Hope you get your pet!!!

I know it was my first before I even had a microphone and is one of the ones I will redo eventually but since brewfest is over it got bumped down in the priority list. Sorry for the bad audio, I really am working on making this an enjoyable viewing experience so comments like this really help me tweak things to the best they can be so thank you for your feedback.
