I love how this show slowly focussed more on the rest of the familt than Sheldon himself. It really shows how things were REALLY like and not just from Sheldon's POV.

When I first watched this scene I was so furious at Mary. George cared about his kids and unlike Mary he actually gave Georgie and Missy attention. Mary was a terrible parent and constantly enabled Sheldon and was the reason it took Sheldon years to become a well adjusted adult.
