"We do this because there is no point in recording data if it's wrong" is my new favorite statement, thank you.

As someone new to this subject it feels as if being more successful i.e. increasing visitor numbers to the museum is going to result in an apparent worsening of our carbon footprint unless the key figure to be aiming at is carbon consumptions per visitor - when presumably the energy consumption per visiotr willreduce with the travle pervisotor will remain static. Thank you to SHARE for putting this on - we're very happy to have won the True Grit award and to be able to acknowledge two of our longest standing volunteers with the Silver Owl Award, and it's great to hear about all the amazing work volunteers are doing around the region as well!

Thank you SHAREMuseumsEast for this Digital Volunteering award. It is totally unexpected and I feel lucky to win considering the quality of the other nominees in this category. I must thank the team at Duxford for nominating me. After ‘discovering’ this volunteer role I never imagined I would still be working at it more than 5 ears later. This is totally down to the amazing bunch of people who are extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and a pleasure to work with. The AAM website provides a wealth of information which has proven to be so useful to American Veterans and their families. A special thank you to Emily Charles who has kept me on my toes and busy, and supplied me with endless cups of tea, coffee and biscuits - despite my, what she calls, “moaning”!!!! I hope to continue for a little while longer and look forward to getting back “among” them at the Duxford office, where I will continue to provide them with their “snack of choice” - SAUSAGE ROLLS! THANK YOU TO ALL. Phil Jackson

Why write agains the styrofoam? Is it simply for the ease of pinning it down?
@juliahwang11182 жыл бұрын
Yes. It's not really styrofoam but a museum quality, non-acidic, foamcor which is tougher and better to write on. It's also just a better to write it when its taught so it doesn't wrinkle as you write on it.

It would be helpful if you discussed more information: why you choose this location on the paper, why it's on the back, what info you are writing and what you are not including.
