I don't know many dating sims / otome games but one that I really love is Tears of Themis which is made by hoyoverse the same people that made honkai star rail and genshin impact I don't see Tears of Themis as a dating sims more like a visual novel of this woman characters romance story with these four gorgeous men but if you want you can self insert. I will have to say, if you are going to try it, don't expect immediate romance as the main story is seperated from the romance and the romance is in the male leads personal stories and the card stories (the cards is where the gacha comes in if you are familiar with gacha games) and the romance is sort of in cronological order between the personal stories and card stories and has a build up and lead up to the relationships. so in the first year of the game's existance was leading up to the first anniversary and every anniversary they bring out cards with stories where they take another step in the relationships between the MC and the MLs. so if you read the beginning of the personal story and then pull on a recent card and read that story, you are going to wonder why did they go from 0 to 100. So maybe a little research as to in which order you are supposed to read certain things can be usefull. Besides that the main story is fun kind of ace attorney but less goofy. and Artem Wing is best man that's all you need to know sorry for rambling
