Most decks typically have get arounds. Even if you play a deck that counters yours, if the conditions are decent you can still turn things around. At least more so than Magna. But with Magna X - you're only hope is either 1. They don't get Magna X quickly (which is unlikely) 2. Pray you can do some damage before he does appear. 3. Have specific decks that wreck it. It shouldn't require flood or Raid/high DP decks to deal with. Especially if you are wanting a decent shot to win.

it has armor purge too, but if you don't have a way to remove your own security when playing with Magna X, you risk getting Ace'd the moment you try to swing to get his protection

Its ok. We have Ragna to deal with Magnamon X now. We just swing over them big bad Magnamon X's with crazy amounts of dp and blast evo against their Magnas lol.

@jfmg64 nope. You're actually wrong on this interaction. Ragna must activate its whole effect before any other effects can trigger after it. Meaning magna X can't gain its protection the moment we blast into Ragna to De-Digi and delete. And once that happens we can still call block on the veemon (due to it being deleted as a normal Magnamon) and because it's still mid-swing.

@@jfmg64 Your local judge is wrong. You need to resolve all new triggers before coming back to the earlier ones, and before advancing to a new step. So before you advance from the "counter" step towards Magna checking Security, you need to resolve all pending effects, that means you need to resolve everything that triggered by blast digivolving Ragnaloard.

@@t0shikita42 @shippous Thanks for the feedback, I read the comprehensive rules and found out that the only effects that interrupt others say "When X WOULD" if it doesn't say "would" then it's a trigger-effect and it has to wait it's turn. 👍

Almost any ace counter magna x, even zudomon who might not be enough to remove digimon can remove magnamon from evol source hence removing invincibility. I just hope bwgm deck get buff (or at least don't limit its lv4) so it become magnamon x worst nightmare

Veemon armor isnt as bad as vaccine, promote patamon, digi for free from security into rapid, play Awakening of the Golden Knight, they now have magna for just 3 memory and a bit of luck, or cheating hard to say

Patamon in the back, BT14 TK in the field they put either rapid or magna X in sec and the other was already there. They're at 1. Promote patamon, rapidmon for free, recover 1, tap TK +1 mem, patamon inherit +1 mem, emissary of hope for 1, Magna for free, recover. They still have 2 memory, they have a Magna X with immunity and didn't lose security.

@@thevoidbeckons When it goes from bt14 patamon into rapid you would need Awakening of the Golden Knight as that option ignores digivolution requirement while Emissary of Hope does not, but still, paying only 3 to get into mangna x is still way to cheap and i think the option Awakening of the Golden Knight needs to be limited because of it.

Yeah, people who say that MagnaX isn't the problem of the format, but Numemon is, doesn't actually understand or ignore the dynamic why Numemon is so strong. If your deck can't climb over the wall that is MagnaX, Numemon shouldn't even be on your radar. MagnaX is the wall, and Numemon is waiting at the top for challengers.

Ah I like Chaosdramon as a singular card, but he unfortunately doesn't fit my playstyle for Machinedramon 😅 Him not being able to evo from machinedramon, nor having protection from battle sets it back alot imo....still a decent option in SOC tho if you wanted!

I enjoy talking about how useful megadramon is against certain tamer-focused decks and you then immediately show 2 tamers that it *can't* pop due to playcost lol. I've personally not had issues vs machinedramon playing hunters due to relative speed/consistency generally allowing for killing the machinedramon player before they can start to get those counters up. ofc, my opponents probably haven't topped a regional with machinedramon, so I'm probably underrating it :P

Faced this deck way too many times to count mans always got the pieces within the first 3 turns never been able to get rid of his body/bodies his machine build a real menace for sure especially with the new “support” coming out, it’s gonna gain collision soon

Tried this deck 32 times, terrible starting hands most games, search options revealed more options and lvl6s when I didn't need them. Never was able to use the D-Brigade inherit, I would go 3-4 turns without seeing a lvl5 often. You're lucky with this shit deck bud.
