Very difficult. Wow. She's trying to harmonize with barely audible instruments, and no string section(?)

Musicians are so powerful. People listen to them for a second, then they start dancing their heads off. Do you know what it takes to get a reaction from the audience that powerful.

You know you’re old when you start reminiscing of the days when “real” music was performed.

It’s always great to have memories than to have none at all. Make sure that your memories are memorable and great because some people don’t have none at all. 😊

I remember Brian's girlfriend, from when they played the Mab.. Her name was Honey. Very pretty. Wonder what became of her.
Historic, I guess. I'm a San Francico kid and heard the killer Edmunds-produced track on KSAN and saw them at the Temple in the City.

I was there in the audience in 87, I sure don't remember it being like that. Are you sure that was Davie, Fl as The Turtles were on that show too?

When the when the men and sound of the early '60s collide with the men and sound of the late '60s, this is what you get out of this performance. Jan & Dean meets Flo & Eddie, can't get any better than that.
@MsJamiewoods2 ай бұрын
I remember watching this special when it originally aired in 1987. I was at Spring Break 1986 in Daytona Beach. Jan and Dean had actually put on a show in Daytona Beach the week before I was there. Spring Break in the 1980s took place over about six weeks on account of varying college schedules.
