Just sublime. Kilotons of old world charm inside and out, it's elegant and opulent, yet homey and inviting. If I had the money and was moving to Michigan, this mansion, or one like it would be mine!

The house is nice and it’s large, the utilities, taxes and insurance would be huge and you still have to pay that even if the house is paid for. I’ve known lots of people that have bought homes without taking this into consideration. Can you imagine spending all that money on a home and getting kicked out of it because you can’t pay the taxes? I know someone who bought a multi million dollar house and didn’t insure it, it bought fire and burned and all he was left was the property. Lots of things to consider.

Never put a chandelier in a kitchen, it gets a film on it that a duster can’t get off, you just have to take it down and clean each prism by hand.

This house would be very hard to keep clean and dusted even with a full time staff. I have 6 large chandeliers in my home and it’s constant cleaning and getting a chandelier hanging off of a staircase like this is exceptionally hard.
