The KT/RHA is always impressive, but this is the first video I've seen where they had six guns. What a truly magnificent unit they are! The British military's ceremonial uniforms are magnificent, but I think the RHA uniforms are something special.

Thank you Alex. Ex hubs was Army and did Buck H Guard duty. People who see the guys and gals "outside" generally have no idea how much sheer graft goes on. Its much more than a full time career, its a lifestyle. Very proud of our Troops.

Lovely watching the trooper giving his horse a drink too. And then ofc wiping his hand on the seat of his breeches….boys will be boys, no matter how fancy the outfit it seems 😂

I do the same, this is just water after all, but mines are usually black so I can clean my hands on them without fearing stains. 😆

Lol typical soldiers, having a quick fag behind the stables lol (yes I mean a cigarette and yes we know smoking is bad, however all but one of the soldiers I have known smoked at some time during their service) and in any case this is very old footage.

Each boot weighs 5lbs (2.5kg) with very movement in the ankle. Mine are solid. 😉

They only wear the high boots when riding or on dress duty, the rest of the time they wear normal Army-type boots I think.
