any one find how to add collisions with other objects? im animating dreads but they just go through my character mesh when animated.. both have collisions on and rigid body passive

What you're talking about in this video is more like a bug. It happens because of the limited computation of the damped track constraint. If you don't play frames in order, it won't work properly. If you want to use this method, you'll definitely have to bake action.

Yeah but would i use this if i want the physics to dicate how the tail moves? I know i need to give it IK i just havent igured out why its not working like normal. IS this the only way to set up a tail . I have a charaacter with a tail and so i dont want to hand animate it. I want to let physics handle its movement. or some reason i can find a straight for ik tutorial for tails. Just damn track

This technique is bugging constantly because it's based on circular dependency loop. I wasted like 6h trying to get this to work properly before I researched that it will just bug out. Still trying to find other way to do this properly though.

Hey, Nita! im trying to parent the root bone of the "snake"( in my case hair :) ) to the head bone pose of the auto rig pro. I Cant be able to select the child bone in the child of Constraint. I can parent, the hair follow the head, but the secondary animation doenst work :( Any ideia? Thx one more time

hi , i really have no idea . may be the order of selection is the problem?? i my self get very confused in this child parent constraint . try to parent it in a very basic bone set up, see if it works.

this method stops working when I turn on motion blur, do you have any solutions :( ?

I haven't tried it with motion blur yet.. perhaps try to bake it once the animation is final.

@@NitaRavalji yes ! this was my solution :) i think its because the dependency cycles interfere with motion blur unfortunately, but visual keying works
