Well whether women like men with long hair or not, I’m still going to grow my hair out to get long curly hair. I’ve had all the haircuts in the book, so my main goal is to rock the long curly hair.

Hey Adam, Good info. I have been using hair tonic for two years. I use the Reuzel but it is gold not blue like you showed. Whats the difference in the two.

Tip: I bought a neck brush, nothing special, $10 or so. Sprinkle some clubman on it, and apply on the balls before bed and after showers. The neck brush is a very helpful tool because not only thats what barbers use, but, also it makes applying very easy, because it stays on the balls and thighs. Wherever you need to apply the telc, thats where it'll stay.

I guess if you look like Henry Cavill or Brad Pitt (or you have similar facial features) you can go either but wavy, full and thick long hair will even add that manly warrior factor. Maybe women do not want to marry you but you are the one they cheat their husbands with. Well, just a joke but who knows. I had never long hair until i started to let them grow in my early 40s. I am thankful i got good genetics with still full hair and i feel much better with it. It is also more rare to find a man past mid 40s with long, thick and full hair (also still not grey). So if you can do......let it GROW. Maybe not all women will like it but those who likes it LIKES it REALLY!!!

What do you recommend for a light hold oil based pomade? I have dense, medium thickness hair thats prone to dryness and i would like to get some shine and texture. You have beautiful hair. Thank you.

72 year old Barber since I was 18 now retired here. I used the original Clubman Talc for decades. I've never had cancer. However why take unnecessary risk if you don't have to. In my day we just didn't know. Same for Cigarette's. Even doctors did these things. If you don't know you don't know enough said. Now a days you do know don't be foolish.

The day before yesterday I had my hair cut short after a year of growing and I deeply regret it. will let it grow again. I'm 36 years old now.

Of the hair tonics I've tried, Vitalis is my favorite so far and my favorite hair grooming product. Lucky Tiger ended up being too greasy and weighed my fine textured hair down and Clubman Pinaud wasn't as good (plus I hated the scent of the Clubman tonic as it made me smell like a margarita). Pomades, creams (the only ones I've tried are Brylcreem and Wildroot) and even clays just make my hair look too greasy, stringy and gross looking. Vitalis gives me a nice natural look with better volume, decent hold for my side part business style cut and nice soft hair. It's not perfect but I'm enjoying it. I want to try Jeris without the mineral oil and Osage Rub again as well as Reuzel Grooming tonic.

My hair was as long as yours. The main reason why I cut my long hair is because I was upgrading my career and when going into interviews I could tell by the micro-expressions on people’s faces that they felt I’m someone they couldn’t take seriously. Think of it what you will but the fact of the matter is that people will always judge you based on how you present yourself and having long hair gives the impression that you “don’t care.”

Thank you Awesome video, I've said it before, but I searched out Hair Tonic videos after watching an episode last year of The Andy Griffith Show, I'm 63 & I swear I've never known about Hair tonic, I saw Floyd the barber on that show always using it or at least asking his customers if they wanted some, & when I was very young & dad use to take me to the barber shop they always used a hair tonic on me after, but they never explained what it was & I never cared to ask, I just thought it was cheap stuff with a decent smell they threw in, until I saw your video, after seeing it that show I decided to see what anyone had to say about it & right away I order 5 Hair Tonics, Jeris, Lucky Tiger, Vaseline, Vitalis & Reuzel, I love all 5 of them & always have them all on hand & use 1 of them daily.

I been doing grow 3 years and cut for last 12 years, I'm now 40. I'm single, by choice, a musician and nurse by trade, and I'll say having long hair is a feeling of freedom not many have the luxury or option to grow. We are wise beyond our years, and know patience. Everything takes time. Cutting it is a rebirth, every time. You do it till you can't. I do donate mine and man it feels good to go short. No shortage of women at any length, it's all in your head. If it ain't you anymore, guess what ? That's ok. Peace and love

it worked for Jason MOMOA, Johnny Depp, Axel Rose. case closed, a full head of hair is what they want, long or short but thick, the face is a big factor, going to the gym matters, yes.

I’ve been growing my hair for three years. I have it up in a ponytail. I gotta tell you I got way more checks with my military short hair look I don’t know. I’m stuck at a crossroads. I like the long hair. It gives me a bad ass look like warrior. Not sure what to do.

I finally cut my shoulder length hair that was almost to the middle of my back about close to 2 weeks ago. The heat wasn't really a big factor as to why I cut it but it was more so of the fact that it kept getting into my face and tangling/frizzing and all of that jazz. It got to the point to where it was embarrassing for me of how unkempt it was and I was starting to wear a hat at work to cover it and then my bosses made up some rule saying I couldn't wear a hat anymore in the building. It got to the point to where I said F this and decided to finally cut it after 2 years and almost 5 months. I now have the sides trimmed down but not too short and my barber left some hair on the top as well and I can still do the parted look kind of like how those emo vocalists look in those metalcore bands. The day I came into work when I cut my hair everybody was shocked and I had compliments from coworkers and customers all week saying I was handsome and looked younger so I guess it all paid off in the end. No idea if ever I'll decide to grow it out that long again but that was a phase I'll never forget.

So my hair is thick and wavy with nice texture... i tried all the products, 1st product is not necessary for my hair type, doesn't makes any difference, the sea salt spray is fantastic, but after it dried out, my hair gets frizzy,, 3rd product makes my hair feels like kinda greasy... So i washed everything again and just applied the sea salt spray,, it looks fine when its wet,, frizzy when dry... Will let you guys know after i try the 1st and 3rd product individually... In the meantime please tell me how can i maintain the thumbnail look all day or as long as possible? ??
