Question, how does it work in Clover Dining Service? Can you make a video? Also does the tips and taxes get charged as well in the percentages? Can you show that video or I can contact you

Hello! Thanks for your question! Yes, the app works with Clover Dining and Clover Register similarly. And we have just planned such a video for the near future. Thanks for the idea! As for the taxes and tips, cash discounts can’t change them. You will get regular taxes and tips after the cash discounts and increased taxes in case you leave your prices increased in your orders.

Great video on this app. Thanks for creating it. How does split checks work if one paid cash and one paid card? How does this work on Table service and you take the check to the customer?

Hello! Thanks for the question! We are working on a solution to split checks by cash and card, and I hope it will be available in the near future. As for the receipts, we have options to print cash/card text on the receipts for the entire order.

@@PayPlaxe Thank you for replying, it is an upgrade, we have been taking payments over the phone previously with the same company. , i'm not sure why i have only very basic function icons on my home screen, but it is a little concerning as 50% of our sales are over the phone. i specifically stated that it would be useless to us if it didn't allow over the phone payments.

Hi, I have a question regarding recurring payments. I did a test for myself and added a recurring payment for 0.01 cent for testing purposes. However, when I received the email notification as a customer, I was able to remove the card on file. How can I disable the ability of customers to remove their card on file? I want them to call us and let us make the changes instead of just removing it on the go.

Hello. We didn’t find such an option on Clover. It may be by design. You can try to contact them to figure out if they have changed something recently.

Clover POS recently started providing features to surcharge customers automatically depending on the payment method. But most merchants still don’t have it. Service Charges don’t have such ability, and only merchants decide whether to add some fees manually to their orders or ignore them. The feature doesn’t work automatically.
