He has talent for sure but he needs to work on his touch accuracy. Completion rate was around 55% I believe. Won't matter if they don't get some players for the other side of the ball with someone who's competent to coach them and a reliable kicker.

Penix was my QB1 in the draft. Im a Bucs fan, when the Falcons drafted Penix and Falcons fans complained, I knew that they didn't understand that the skies just opened on their future. When it's all said and done, Penix will be the best passer from that draft class.

@samchristian37 Which was correct, as the draft pick was more valuable than the money. We just seen the Broncos eat an 80 million dollar dead cap on Wilson (I think it was 80 million) and go to the playoffs with a rookie. Granted that's not something you aim to do, but trying to develop your QB while attempting to out a good product on the field should be more important to fans than fans trying to be arm-chair GM's .

They going to hate on Lamar Jackson this year, it was on every major platform at week 14. The mvp race is over when Josh had 2 good games but they hide the fact he’s 2-2 versus playoff teams and Lamar was 7-3 with way better numbers. Josh has an easier division and schedule. The bills wouldn’t even be in the playoffs in the afc north.

So if they vote Josh Allen when Lamar broke history it’s a crybaby vote because he has 2 already. J J has a season ending injury so its Sam's ship to sail for the year and if he does very well and takes the Viking to the big show, unless Sam wants to go somewhere else he will be the Vikings QB. The Vikings aren't going to just throw him overboard in favor of JJ if Sam does well. Its a long season and there is still a lot of ball to play to even be worrying about all of that.

I dont really understand the CMC argument for SF. Both games thus far the starting RB has gone for over 100 yds and a TD... if not for purely Frank Warner, the argument could be made that this game might not have even been very competitive on the scoreboard.

In the run game, the CMC factor hasn't massively been there. Passing game usage hasn't really been there for Mason (seems like using Deebo to pick up the slack there)

When Bryce was drafted, i saw he wasn't an NFL level QB. He was short and thin, for the NFL. I made several posts on social media to sit him on the bench for two years. In those two year, let the training staff build him up physically. The replies i got was, "he needs to play, in order to learn how". He could learn on the bench and gotten stronger. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Maholmes, all sat on the bench atleast 1 to 2 years before starting. Bryce hasn't strengthened up. He can't throw the long pass and inaccurate with short passes.
