For people who dont understand: -uni for STEM, teaching,law,or another field where you can EASILY see people making good money in that field and can research this(if it takes more than two clicks to find a job's salary,its BS -apprenticeship for a job where youre actually doing something that you can clearly see is a skill thats in demand (Plumbing,electrician,gas engineer,woodwork,IT technician,hairdressing(is actually profitable if youre good),nursing,AI and machine learning-if you can get 6 months experience in one of each your salary will skyrocket

Ive had this same issue were people want me to tone down the slang for work or something kmt GTFOH. ill cut out swearing but slang is my accent im from a carribean Home and u.k slang is a watered-down version of patois mixed with some other stuff, ive never changed the way i speak in any settings but iam very friendly, pleasant and honest and that is what has been carrying me for real, now without changing for anyone im a lorry driver in my early 30s working my own days and hours not tied to some slave contract using my wages to buy Houses in areas i can afford to buy cash. At the end of the day mate I asked you that question because I wanted your opinion and I do get what your saying but I finish usually at like 12- 1 ish and I don’t do my hours get pay till 6 pm start at 7 am and I’ve got the whole day to do another job if needs be I’ve got a very good work effort and I do overtime like I said on weekend on time and half and double on a Sunday I don’t think it’s the worst job out there
