0:19 that smell is hydraulic fluid i think. almost every montgomery or montgomery kone i’ve been on smells like that (including macys southpark and sears). i kinda like that smell tho

Keep in mind Disney is a very busy place that gets a TON of foot traffic. I bet the elevators get to the end of their service life pretty quickly

Surprised to see something original like this & in such a good condition. JCP Washington Square Mall's elevators are very similar to this one, just without a PI. Aaaaand I believe my local JCP (1979 US) is being modernized.

These older JCPenney elevators that are still original are always nice to run into! I was surprised that this one was even still original, because I forgot this one even had an elevator when I visited this mall. 😂

Sarasota actually had 3 malls at a time. Now they’re down to 2 after Sarasota Square closed earlier this year.

It’s not too far away from Belden. I think it’s like 10 minutes down the road. It’s attached to an abandoned mall.

I bet these were what the elevators originally looked like at both Dillard's stores at Summit Mall. One of the escalators in the south store just broke down twice in the span of a few months.

I was just here in August and did a video on this; there are also a crap ton of Otis Lexans in Fairlawn (I know you've already filmed the majority of them) and still a few left in inner-city Akron--including LeBron James's high school I think you should try to film the elevators at the ICWU building on the west side of Akron

Yeah he was very polite! He didn’t even notice me filming or say anything about that. He just said I technically wasn’t supposed to be on the top floor because there basically was nothing up there.

It’s not too far off, but it has Epco in a rear door. That’s really the only major difference. And that this store was originally a Strawbridges

This elevator originally had the low pitch chimes. The chimes are also barely audible now.
