Hard job but a great one... Until you realize a clerk makes more and doesn't sleep in the mud... or you get a drone coming at you. Thank god I only had IED's to worry about. Remember future soldiers, Veterans ask for more then the government can give.

The Ukrainians are showing us what we need to strengthen our armed forces. Lots of reserves that can be called upon quickly, so time to find a way to flesh out reserve units. Drones, drones and more drones. And mines lots of mines. The only real threat to Canada is the same one that invaded us before. Oh, yeah. Time to stop the subsides to the USA, filling their factories with orders and paying the mortgages of their workers and only buy kit from our other friends or better still, start making our own like the Swedes do.

We have tanks on canada? I did see an old Russian ww2 tank crush a car out front of the royal legion back in 2015. Told my little kids we have tanks lol

Canada didn't get rid of all its tanks. The Canadian Armed Forces still operate Leopard 2 tanks (models like the Leopard 2A6M CAN and Leopard 2A4M CAN). Early in 2023, Canada sent 8 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine as part of its support for the war effort. To maintain its own military capabilities, Canada is planning to replace the tanks it donated, potentially with new models. So, while they’ve given some tanks to Ukraine, they’re actively modernizing their fleet rather than phasing tanks out completely.

Bro, trust me from experience its gonna take at least 2 years for them to process your file. I've taken the test and haven't heard back for a medical for 8 months now, it's not a process worth going through
