This + MAGGI SEASONING SAUCE!!! There are many kinds but my favorite is the one with a red cap :))) stronger flavor and sooo good on everything esp stir fry and fried rice. If you like a more mild one get the yellow cap. Red cap is similar to dark soy sauce but with way more flavor. I could eat it with just plain rice and eggs. I use it for a LOT of meals :) or you can even use it as a dipping sauce! I add Thai chilies and dip my veggies in it :) if you haven’t tried it, you need to. It’s life changing 😂

Why would someone make this from scratch, add great ingredients including expensive protein…. and then dump in chicken “powder,” which is mostly salt plus assorted odd flavorings, after all that work? There’s a healthier, superior brand called Better Than Buillion, and you can recognize every ingredient as concentrated real food. It keeps in your fridge forever. I use the sodium-reduced chicken and vegetable ones, even Costco sells them. Restaurants use the powder because it’s cheap and doesn’t cut into their profit margin as much, and since it’s not real food it doesn’t spoil…. but you’re at home, treat yourself to something superior. Better Than Buillion Sodium Reduced is…. better. It has a bit of nutrition. America’s Test Kitchen likes it too. 😉

I much rather add Maggi seasoning to this vs chicken bouillon. Better and IMO a better flavor profile for many things. I use it to sauté my mushrooms, to add flavor to my eggs, mandatory for my stirfrys! the options are endless

I've made this dish for years. The only difference is that I garnish with toasted breadcrumbs, which add texture and are delicious. (Just add some olive oil, bread crumbs and parmesan or romano cheese to a non-stick skillet and mix/toast until golden.)

you are not supposed to cook miso. Only stir in the miso after the dumplings are cooked and then do not bring to the boil again

I only remenbered "bolo de formigueiro" it's a tipe of cake(vanilla, I think) with chocolate pieces that dotted it like ants, formigueiro is the ant's home(I don't know that in english🥲). Not sure if it's common only here or in other places as well, but it's delicious 😋
