@@SavagesInTheBox Well... I mean... All his films are the same. But let's go with his Blue Print film: "Annie Hall." You could also put "Avatar" on my list. Probably "Titanic" too. Except Titanic at least has the whole sinking ship hour which is pretty good. Plus, the parts with Kathy Bates make it tolerable at least every fifteen minutes or so. Not that I'm hating on James Cameron, because I think he's made some awesome films. I just think these particular films were WAY overrated--especially "Avatar." They were well-marketed. They weren't that good. "Full Metal Jacket" sucks. Once you get out of Boot Camp, the movie takes a nose dive into boring and disgusting and depraved. I would argue a lot of Kubrick's films were overrated. On a technical level, almost all of them are perfect. But on an interest/story level, a lot of them are terrible. "A Clockwork Orange" is overrated. "Apocalypse Now" is a terrible film. I'll fight anyone who feels like they need to fight over that opinion. "Scarface" is overrated. "Carlito's Way" is a far superior film. "Black Panther" was overrated. It might be the most overrated film I can think of. But then again, there is "Barbie." I want to put "Lawrence of Arabia" on here as well. Not sure why. I cannot tell if I think it's a boring film because it IS boring, or because my modern sensibilities find it boring. Either way: it has some great shots. But it is most definitely a way too long-winded film.
