Im looking to buy & where I live the Energiser is half the price of the Marathon Plus. What are your thoughts on that? I've had the Surly ETs for a few years & they puncture often, getting the tire back on is not possible on my own. Is causes me anxiety when I'm far from a shop

I bought the Energiser Plus on eBay. It works well but I run Zeffal anti puncture inner liners which are really effective. Id recommend buying those as well. The Marathon Eplus is more puncture resistant than the Energiser but it is absolute hell to get on and off. I had an Eplus on the back of my Ebike and it did 8270 km before it's first puncture. But I prefer the Energiser Plus with Zeffal inner liners because the Energiser is easier to get on and off.

The energizer plus is a great tyre. Came with my Kalkhoff ebike. Done 4,500+ kms so far and in excellent condition.

If you pump it up to 65 PSI does it straten out, Id never thought of that. My Ebike wheels are cheap and the bearings in the hub outlast the rest of the wheel
