Thank you for this, I like the idea of an embossed design. It may have been easier to put the hoop on the arms and then place the sweat shirt into position...

Can’t wait to try this… just one question, can you use any appliqué font to create this look?
@AllStitchEmbroiderySupplies28 күн бұрын
Because this is a different process, you would need to digitize specifically for this technique. You may be able to use some designs digitized for 3D foam and then add the final outer running stitches to “emboss” the designs on the garment. You might not achieve the fat letters seen in this technique.

I would like to learn how to so that. Do you offer videos that explain all the materials and machines needed?

The products we used are in the details. Check them out there!

When designing the embroidery file, do you put the final tack down stitch directly over the center of the thin satin stitch that was used on the foam or should it be just to the outside of that satin stitch?
@AllStitchEmbroiderySupplies28 күн бұрын
We put the final tack-down stitches just on the outside of the 3D satin stitches.

Great technique! Thanks for the video. I would actually switch the layers of backing around so the tear away wouldn't be trapped inside of the shear iron on.
@AllStitchEmbroiderySupplies28 күн бұрын
Yes, you could switch them and that would allow you to remove all of the tear away. Be sure to use a nice soft tear away as it may be worn directly next to the skin.

There is no way a big shop would use either one of these methods. Too slow. Get a 5 x 5 Mighty hoop and their free arm, you’re welcome.

Also solvy should be wide enough to hoop so it helps fabric stay flat and stitches uniform.

You say nylon screen. At the hardware store all I saw was fiberglass screening is this the same?
@AllStitchEmbroiderySupplies4 ай бұрын
No, you would not want to use fiberglass screen for embroidery, same with aluminum screen. They could both damage the machines. I did hear that pet screen is nylon. So you could search for that too.

Did you add adhesive on the patch?
@AllStitchEmbroiderySupplies6 ай бұрын
It was sticky on the back of the patch but we used Fuse N Bond to make it permanent

Hi, love it! What size magnetic hoop did you use?

It is the magnetic 5.5”x5.5” Mighty Hoop

Since you have hooped the Cubbie upside down, remember to flip the design before embroidering.

Not everyone has a multi-needle . Where's the video for the single-needle users?
@nancygreer226311 ай бұрын
I agree that these types of videos should be "generic" in nature, and not specific to a "type" of machine. Not all multi-needles use these kinds of hoops... I have single needle machines (3) and they are different brands with different hoop sizes and machine features. I use Mighty Hoops for my commercial multi-needle. I feel that these types of videos can be more confusing, especially for newbies...which was my experience when I started a few years ago. Hope you get the info you need for your machine(s).
