Really feels like someone should make a third mounting point for the steering rack so it doesn't move as much. Marlin has a tab you can weld on but it's permanent. Would be nice to capture the center of the rack with a bushing or something around the crossmember. The two OEM bolts don't seem like enough with bigger tires. I've actually bent my bolts!

Surprised with all the mods and fabrication you guys do to the Tacomas in the USA, no one there has swapped over the weak factory diff brackets. These bend in low range when reversing on Hiluxs and there's been upgraded non diff drop and diff dropped braced (LHF front to rear crossmember) diff bracket kits for a long time here in Oz.

Got it done. Last bolt, the security one, was being a dick. Ended up stripping it while it’s mostly in. I figured now it’s even harder to get out lol. Great product other than the trouble I ran into was smooth install

you can use Switch Pro. Instead of running the various wires to the switch you run 2 wires to the switch pro. I believe purple and black wires. I believe there are some shops that make a pig tail to make it easy. You can also run the power direct to battery no ignition if you want to run the compressor whenever.

$900 for these UCA’s and they squeak like hell. Grease them every oil change with SuperLube and they still squeak like a mf. I’m out, going back to stock.

is it typical for the fitment of this to be absolute trash? the way you designed the latch point, you can yank this free with minimal effort. and maybe it's because of the weight of two cans, but the latch will not latch on the center of the hook no matter the configuration of the cans (scepter water, and Wavian gas, so I'm using as NATO of a product as you can). I ended up having to run the latch down to the hole beside the actual hook point, fortunately the hook actually reaches behind the metal. I emailed wheelers off-road, where I bought it, but figured this might get more attention. I also noticed there's no where to leave a review (coincidence?) so maybe this will help anyone looking to buy this.

Oatman az is there because it's a tourist trap. It was a gold mine boom towing in 1915. A prospector had Two claims, one he named after himself (moss) the other he named after her (oatman) near the town. In 1921 the whole place burned down accept for the hotel. Boom ended, gold dried up by 41' and the town was pretty much totally abandoned in mid 50's the rout 66' craze brought in people to rebuild the fake ghost town you see today. Not to completely shit on the town. It's pretty awesome! I've been bit by a burro twice there! There's also a semi hidden fresh water spring on one of those switchbacks going to Kingman. The area in-between the two towns is golden valley, some time in the spring the whole place is covered in yellow flowers.... it's bonkers to see

Always wear gloves or use a stick to spread any type of adhesive. Over time, those chemicals will cause serious health issues. Read the warning label.

Thank you! I'm pleased to order the gray version for the 2009 Tacoma that Dad spec'd the same way I would have. I hope UPS delivers it earlier today, rather than later. I'm looking forward to telling my Tundra friends that they can get this now, too! The IFS front skid plate, black powder coated, aluminum has been a great replacement for the stock SR5 steel skid and braces: more coverage for the same weight! A definite win last week when I drove up Gash Creek west of Victor, MT. USFS has been saving money on road maintenance... The bed stiffeners have been a welcome addition, too!
