Thats a Superb Set mate , I Never knew there was another version of Betty Lavette ... Yer learn Summat every day... Prefer hers If I am honest , but that is still a nice 45. Beryl Marsden was on the Steampacket record ...she is still around , Macca got the gig to send Cilla on tour ...Lennon wanted her , who knew who was right?,,there is a great Vid on here singing a live version Of " Every is Gonna Be Alright" Had some pipes for sure... Think " Breathtakin Guy" was Marvelletes ? ?? when you posted this version , Shit , It was in my head for weeks ..still is..great tune. I wouldn't worry about how many people listen - in , but I do Pity the masses who don't.. They are missing - out Good -Style. Cheers 200Kid.

@petegriffin Its the First track You played mate , " Happiness will only cost you) one thin dime) Its a Faster version and almost catches you out as Holly Maxwell's Version seems to be slowed- down for Popcorn Fans ...both good though. Hit 60 last year and I'm Still looking for stuff I haven't heard before , growing- up in Crewe , all we heard in the House was Soul & Reggae , tail-end of the Sixties , people say it was dreary, No Fucking Way ! ..most Fridays Lads came round who my Sister knew from 6th - Form, I don't recall seeing anyone as Cool , Smart Or with Record collections like they Had before or since , I can almost hear the Lammys Revving outside , Smashing Blokes , Real Gents really, had Manners too ,but hard as nails . Thing is you get to this age , and God Love em and all - that , as I've been around a long-time I want to find newer stuff , but if I never hear Frank Wilson or Julian Covay again , it won't be too soon ... Not sure if you know the 45 , But , If you like a bit of Psyche / Mod , as I do nowadays.. , look up " Cold Turkey" Big Boy Pete , first hear , Blew my head off ! Cheers 200Kid

@Lee-cz6ss Ah. It's not a bad version, Betty lavette. Holly Maxwell is the correct speed, I never slow 45s down, I play them how they were meant to be. I'm 57 tomorrow, mate. I collect a wide range of music from the 50s and 60s, as you can see from my uploads on here. Still have my Lambretta as well.

Is this one a cover of a Young Rascals song? Was under the impression that it was written by Felix Cavaliere, but I've been mistaken far too many times to count...Good version at any rate, and have to think it wasn't well-known outside of the Florida area. The list of obscure American garage bands from that era seems endless, at times. Thanks for posting.
