hey brother, i recently move to a new place and i happen to place my msi optix g27c5 monitor on a wrong spot. i have 2 monitor same model and theres a bracket behind. somehow i didnt realize when it was next to each other the monitor in the back got little cracked probably from bracked and the screen got line in the middle. i went to bestbuy, call local repair shops and msi they all told me to buy a new one. also, msi dont sell parts and i left here with nothing but to buy a new one. i dont wanna buy one because it still functional and im sure this can be fix like yours. would you help find lcd for my msi? appreciate your reponse.

Good vid, I opted to buy new boards for both switches that are hot swappable, and a pile of various extra switches, my mouse will never die now! lol. i also cut tiny circles in the skates the same size as the screw heads and left them in place, so i never have to disturb them again when i take it apart ( this does leave holes in the bottom of the skates but its just cosmetic really, who looks at the bottom of your mouse! lasers are bad for your eyes anwyays lol!)

I purchased the 2024 A16 Advantage Edition of this laptop 14 days ago from Best Buy and will be returning it by tomorrow due to the 15 day return window. Every issue described in this video began happening right out of the box and I thought it was user error until finding this video this morning on my way to work. The screen is so dark it's almost unplayable under most lighting conditions during the daytime. When going to sleep at night it won't stop flashing and go to sleep even with the screen closed. This issue along with the multiple attempts to wake it back up is a daily occurrence. The power button is also soft so I could see it breaking within the first year and it took multiple attempts to turn it on just to use. It can play every game you throw at it but if you can't see the screen what's the point? I got this just to give an all AMD build a chance and it was awful.

My Zen3+ FA617NS also clocks lower, about 4.4 max. Or 4.5 by hwinfo, never see though. In RPCS3 it actualy stays 4.0 (+-1) Did anyone fix that or its just a thermal issue? Any advice?

i bought this laptop because of its supposedly great battery life and my experience has been very disappointing. the battery is draining so fast its going down 1% per minute with all battery saver options on. i have been unable to find any answers to my problem and all videos ive seen praise the laptops long battery life

For the issue related to the battery needing to be "hotwired", I have an Asus Zenbook oled that suffered from the same issues, until I uninstalled Windows 11, and installed windows 10. Don't know if you tried this but might be worth a try.

just did it to my 3080 ti. Temps went from 80 c to 62c. Make sure you get the dye AND the heatsink covered for good adhesion. I learned that without both top and bottom surfaces covered, the liquid metal doesn't make contact with both surfaces. Also Make sure you buy thermal grizzly liquid metal. Cheap liquid metal will corrode both dye and heatsink. P.S: You can put clear epoxy to cover the chips on the motherboard. I've tested this and sucessfully covered a test laptop with it and works perfectly, except a bit too much epoxy can leak into critical parts that need movement like USB ports, HDMI ports, connectors and screw locations. So just a heads up keep the epoxy clear of critical parts that need to move. Test Laptop: MSI GF65 RTX 3060 & i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (Epoxy Coated) Functional 100% although I can't replace the Memory since the DDR4 socket had some epoxy leak into it. Fully protected against liquid metal!

Why did they have to put the screws under the sticker and the skates? I'm afraid they won't stick properly anymore, especially at the edges, so they might get stuck in places, collect dirt or just not feel very smooth anymore. That's why I'm not opening it up. I just need to clean out the scroll wheel. We didnt see that in the video. Will the skates stick properly again if you removed them while heated?

Picked up an MSI I7-14700F/4060TI/16GB/1TB/ back in May. Has been pretty good so far. Gaming with a Samsung G8 34" OLED, everything plays well with relatively low noise, and heat dissipates very well, as the heat-producing components are in their separate chambers. Installing a second NVME is easy once you figure out what side the slot was on. The only issue I ran into so far is that the PSU is only 500W. I wasn't aware of this until I purchased an MSI Ventus 4070Ti Super. I called MSI and they did not have a more powerful PSU that would accommodate the size of this Trident, but said the form factor would need to be an SFX, which is a smaller than average PSU.
