🤔 Hmm...It all fits to the track when I recorded. Maybe the 2nd underlying bassline I've added pushes it out slightly. The triplets are really pushing against the drums though I agree there. It's like it on the original track too. Just less bass to notice.

Oh for sure! The bass on the clip pre youtube compression was immense on this one through the speakers.

And since I am obsessed with this song (and the cool nose the mouse has in the clip) the minute it came out when I was 11, when I bought a 5 string, this is the first song I have played on it. I did not leave it until I nailed every note to the right timing and longtivity of the note itself and dead notes. I mean, yeah, some will say it is a simple line and what's the big fuss about it. But it not fingers who play it. With this song, its your soul. and it is felt. Well done.

Oh I remember that one. Had a different tuning to the stand E A D G. I've played it in the past. A little refresher and I could probably record it.

@@tellingbass8254 yeah, it’s really low tuning, two steps down from the normal, gotta play close to the base of the strings to avoid any twanging sounds cus the strings get pretty slack, but I for sure would love to listen to a cover from you ^^
