The most famous par 3 in all of golf is the 17th at the players. And don't you forget it.

I much prefer the term “the twirl” than “shallowing” Because when you do it you realise it feels like the club is twirling behind you then it twirls you around. The twirl is the ultimate transition. The position the twirl puts you in is so so powerful as elk said it’s unbelievable.

The inwards part is the most important. And when you send it inwards you just keep sending it there until it twirls you around and through the ball. You never need to change directions when you send it inwards.

Pete Cowan talks about it, he calls it pressure down through the right arm and hand on to the back of the shaft at impact, whilst most of us like Elkington demonstrates are flinging our outstretched arms at the ball.

Bradley: I am addicted to your videos and tell everyone about them. I used to teach people rehab during therapy and know patients don't always understand what they are told. Golf instruction is like that for me. Hands through impact Part 1 has a moment like that for me which I never understood. "Pinning the shaft to the strike" was foreign to me and I could not figure it out. i tried many different explanations in my mind and while practicing. But I never understood it. Finally, yesterday i was looking at another professional explaining "the 4:30 line" in a video. He said one thing that made "pinning" clear to me in just one sentence. He described "pinning" in terms of keeping pressure on the shaft, keeping the shaft flexed prior to and during the ball strike. Suddenly that one sentence made all of your lessons crystal clear........Keep the shaft flexed, right handed, left handed, past the ball, on the 4:30 path. Pinning the shaft to the strike--great shots, great accuracy.

Left hand controls the club face, right hand controls the mass. Who said that? I've played golf for over 50 years and never heard that. It's profound

That clubface is straight up. You cannot h it the ball like this. Teaching a massive flip that most people can’t do and won’t promote any shaft lean.

Just listen to the sound of impact when Bradley strikes the ball. Lots of good nuggets in this short vid, especially the left shoulder suggestion.

This isn't the line of compression concept. This is what is called and "in-line" release pattern. Line of compression is where the shaft is on relation to your trail forearm from the dtl view

That's pretty astute and now it's pretty funny. I used to live on Strawberry Hill Road there in the 1980's and Clint Eastwood lives up on top of the forrest in a beautiful rambling mission style mansion. I think the gate fees are now $11.25. They were $5 when we lived there.

Wouldn’t it be the more your hands are in the more the club can stay behind you because they would be closer to being behind you versus out they’d be more in front of you?
