She was so funny at the start that I thought she was going to do a comedy act. Then with total seriousness and dignity she brings new light to an old song! Love the shades of light and dark. She uses restraint at all those higher notes at the start -that most ordinary singers just belt out- by drawing those notes (and us) back in, giving her time to really build up to almost the end of the song, and then drawing us back in again right at the tail with a softer ending. This is truly a professional level of interpretation. Absolutely beautiful.

yoashobi のアイドルのしかも和英ミックスを選曲しているのもGood！日本の誇りをもって闘うスタイルもすごくいい。 ただ、日本人なら横並びに、奇麗な一糸乱れない演出が奇麗で感動させるが、海外の反応を見ると、器械体操的な、合体演目に引き込まれているのが声の大きさから理解できる。ダイナミックな合体演技を織り交ぜた方が良かったかもしれない。 惜しむらくは、シンデレラハネムーンの方がドラマチックで、アクションの切り替わりをつけやすかったのかもしれない。 でも、yoasobiのアイドルの選曲は個人的には旬だと思うし嬉しかった。

Emmy doesn’t need the power vocals because she’s got such a unique sound and sweet presence. Her voice is very different from Loretta amd Crystal. She is a star in her own right. She’s the whole package - not a belter but a very lyrical and beautiful sound. She’s an original. Whether or not she wins, she should be on the world stage singing to the masses.

Watching this from Sydney, Australia. If any of the contestants are watching this - Emma, I love your tone and voice on the piano, you didn't need to get up and dance, but what would have made the song you was if you "sexed it up" by singing it slower and more seductively. It sounded rushed at the piano. If you had of got up, it would have been ok, but at the piano, when singing songs tike that try singing seductively. Keep up the great work, you are not lost in the world and have started to shine. Well done.

Emme Russell does not have a strong voice! It's a little above average but it's not exceptional. She should not be in the top five!
