Hello, you can't throw an F5K like an F3K, these are two different things. An F5K is a motor aircraft with very good thermal properties. The attraction of the F3K is to throw it high and glide in the thermals for as long as possible, i.e. to stay up there without an engine.

Would you recommend an F5K over a F3K for a beginner? Can you also just hand launch the F5k without using the motor and does it behave just like the F3K in this case? Danke Schoen.

I think hacker RC sucks! I ordered a product over 10 weeks ago promising they would ship within 2 to 4 weeks. After repeated emails I have no idea if they are even still in business.
