Good morning Grandma! Great story! "Goodie gumdrop" lol I love your sayings 🙌😆.. Lol I've dealt with the cat scratching at the door as well! 😂 She was so dramatic with it too lol. Then she would meow really loud practically screaming. 🤣 At our old house she learned how to open the front door to let herself out. Which was okay but then sometimes I wouldn't know she left. I would walk in the living room and the door is wide open. 🤦‍♀️ I had her for 14 years. 🐈‍⬛❤ Have a great day Grandma, love you! 🩷🩷

Hello again Dear Lois!! You are such an inspiration to me! Love listening to whatever you have to say always! We just went over the story about Abraham and Sarah in my Bible study class. So it's quite fresh in my mind. Today's reading was about Jacob and Esau as we go thru the book of Genesis, chaper by chapter. Ohhh, that reminds me...I got The Messsge Bible. It reads like a story book. Easier for me to understand. I ordered it online thru Thrifty Books I believe. 🤔 You can get "almost new" and new books thru them. I like to order the barely used ones because they are less expensive. Why not? Right? I've always had cats too Gramma Lois. I'm down to one now. She is 19 yrs old now. She has been great company since my beloved hubby passed. However... she is really becoming so very needy. I cannot go anywhere anymore without causing her anxiety. I love her, but am kinda anxious to get on with my life and maybe travel a bit. I don't have anyone to travel with anymore, but I think I might try whenever my kitty passes. We once had a cat that we took everywhere. She loved riding in the car. She lived to be 19 yrs old as well. Well, this one I have will NOT go in a carrier either. No way, José!! Not happening! If it gets so I have to put her down...I will have a vet come to the house for that. Only thing is, she's scared of other people, so it's almost impossible to catch her. Hahaha...pets are great company!! But they sometimes are aggravating. Oh well..I love them...cats, dogs, monkeys 🐒...great companions. But nowadays they are so very expensive to care for. And they limit your freedom at times. I imagine one day after all is said and done, I will have another one to love on, even though I say I won't. Wow.. Look at how long I've been writing...hahaha! I reckon I'd best let you go for now my sweet friend. I don't have anyone to talk to soooo I keep on jabbering!! Thank you Gramma Lois for your stories and thank you for listening to mine. I have to be honest Lois. I don't have anything to do with cats. My mom got Diphtheria as a little girl and almost died. We never had anything to do with cats. My dumb sister had 3 or 4 cats and everything in her house stunk. If you sat on her couch you stunk until you could get home and take a bath and change clothes. She said well I have kitty litter in boxes. They have that poop all over their feet. Sick.😮

One morning, she told her Mother, "I'm the best hoer in the County! ) We always laughed at that story! She would have to help Hoe, 25 acres of Watermelons & 25 acres of Canteloup! That was in a little town called Evening Shade Arkansas. Population about 200 back then. Today it has grown to 315. LOL They grow the best melons in that area! I moved to Wichita Kansas in 1971.
