I saw Garry Moore in Germany, in the 80s, it was my first concert ever, and I'm still so in love with everything he did...so soulful and authentic...the guitar alone tears at your heart...❤️

discovering gary moore in high school really did something for me. coming from a household where no rock music was played, hearing his playing specifically made me want to create the same sounds and make the guitar sing the same way. wish i had the chance to see him play live -- such a unique talent and although he is one of the best guitarists he's simply an artist, a musician one could only aspire to be...

Used to be so easy to give my heart away But I found out the hard way There's a price you have to pay I found out that love was no friend of mine But I should have known time after time So long, it was so long ago But I've still got the blues for you… Used to be so easy to fall in love again But I found out the hard way It's a road that leads to pain I found that love was more than just a game You're playin' to win, but you lose just the same So long, it was so long ago But I've still got the blues for you… So many years since I've seen your face Here in my heart, there's an empty space Where you used to be So long, it was so long ago But I've still got the blues for you… Though the days come and go There is one thing I know I've still got the blues for you…

One of the moat beautiful songs I've ever heard. He's one of the most underrated performers of my time. He's a legend to me ❤❤🎉
He certainly deserves a statue or a monumental building. As someone from Turkey who has known and listened to his songs since the 2010s, I truly get sad that people from Ireland don't recognize him today wish I had the opportunity to meet the maestro pay my respect
