Just an FYI. The Wolves cant spend whatever they want on their own guys. They can only offer SloMo the vet minimum. The only reason they could potentially resign Morris for more is that they got his Bird rights in the trade.

Brad Underwood said all year that he didn’t run anything for TSJ. The had Marcus Domask to run the half court O. TSJ got all his points in transition and quick hitters, quick drives to the cup, catch and shoot, or dribble pull up.

Conley was a plus defender early in his career and he is 6' tall. Ja is reasonably good on defense and he is only 5lbs more than Dillingham. IF he wants to be the best, he will find ways to be a good defender. He wasn't a passer until he got to Kentucky, because he needed to. If he wants to be a starter, he will need to be a reasonable defender. I don't have any concerns with this guy once he gets in the weight room and help from a dietician.

@MatthewSchilken4 күн бұрын
Moore was traded for cap and roster space. If you are asking why no one talks about 2nd round picks it's likely because they are the equivalent of NFL 7th RD/UDFA players, so why go in depth?

I've been a Warriors fan for years but was really taken by the wolves this past season. If the playoffs run showed anything it's how desperately the team needs more shot creation next to Ant. It doesn't matter how poor a defender any drafted guard/wing is if they can bring that skill to the table. The team is already so loaded with good defensive players they can afford to hide a guy if they need to. And if he gives effort and plays smart team defence then all the better. There is a world of difference between physically limited but willing defenders and the likes of Luka and Trae Young who give so little effort much of the time that they compromise a whole team and set terrible examples as the franchise player.

He has some peak Kemba to him and Kemba was smaller. TSJ had nearly 9FTA a game. Much more than a 3pt shooter. He can be a cutter and attacker. My question with him is if he can be a role player. Take a Troy Brown Jr role.
@rexsmith90745 күн бұрын
Our comments are all telling you Shannon is a steal and you're underestimating him because he is. Even smart draft guys like Wasserman knew. Avery Johnson tried to say it. NBA teams had him rising up the board. If it had not been for that case which turned into nothing but only ended a week ago, he would have gone way higher. He's gonna be a player for you guys.
@bryan-og3ym5 күн бұрын
How did you not talk about Shannon’s FT % and FT attempts per game, both sky high. Also rebounds. Before being asked to score so much also a lockdown defender and a lockdown defender when asked to be by Illinois.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6mxn6mjoNiDapYsi=5zef-jb1ZD58DQgW Severely underating Shannon's ability in the half court. He can score at all 3 levels and get himself a bucket anywhere on the court. He's a good passer 2.4 apg but he was the alpha scorer so that wasn't what he was game planed to do.

Love the picks. I think you’re underrating Shannon’s ability in the half court. Watched all three games in the big ten tourney in person, and he TOOK OVER. Was coming off of pin downs, played off pick and rolls in the corner. Was dominant on both sides and seemed to have that takeover ability. Also a bigger physical guard; may be able to throw a different look defensively than the length of McDaniels/naw against a Luka type player.
@timj84845 күн бұрын
Exactly!! Highlights from the B10 tourney he is a 3 level scorer in the half court you don't score 23 pts a game just in transition kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6mxn6mjoNiDapYsi=5zef-jb1ZD58DQgW
