Gotta admit, this looks damn good.

I remember this for a long time, I really love how this game was, dark and with really good graphics and gore it's a shame it was canceled but at least we will have Clock Tower Rewind and Bye Sweet Carole.

Ryu’s theme sounds good. It should’ve been included in the final game.

This reminds me a lot of Exmortis the flash horror game series, such a shame this was cancelled.

I remember being excited every time he posted an update on this game. I once got so creeped out by the promotional websites music I thought a creepy music box was hiding in my house and called my parents 🤣

I don’t know how long after it was, but the fact this is like a blueprint of Maximum Impact is waaay too obvious. I know the people that left SNK in the early 2000’s made this, but I wonder if someone who was still at SNK, saw what their ex-coworkers were doing and said “Hey, let’s make our own 3d fighting game crossover.” And since KoF was already that, a fighting game crossover, all they had to figure out was how to transition it to 3d.

This game looked like it was going to be the remaster that the current remaster needs to be. Nintendo switch is coming with an updated Clocktower: First Fear game soon. But it looks like the same darn game! O_O

Wow. I was following this project a long while ago. I even searched to see if this game footage was still uploaded and I remember not being able to find anything, so I thought it was lost. Thanks for putting it up. I remember seeing bits and pieces of this video from the developer uploading them in the past (I remember them releasing a funny video using Jennifer's face at 17:12 since even back then people were saying how funny she looked, though I didn't know it was her reaction to Laura in the shower. I also forgot how gruesome that scene looked). I remember when the developer changed Jennifer's last name since they were using her full name from the original game. Keeping the game a secret until it was done or close enough is what you have to do these days for stuff like this. Reminds me of that Metroid 2 remake that was finished and released for a bit before Nintendo got involved.

When Luke was shown for SFV, people mentioned how he could be the Luke from this game. However the Directors of SF commented how they were different characters, and then later those directors showed footage of them playing this game on a arcade inside of Capcom's offices. They still have it there and probably very finished.

Thank goodness for the more original tracks. I think that made EX into what it is. As cool as it would of been to have Arika renditions of the already established Street Fighter tunes. I think they made the right call doing all original tracks.

I can say this even though remothered turned out weird at least it wasn’t as bad as the dumpster fire that was Night Cry. And that was made by the original clock tower creator also did anyone else catch the madam svenska reference in here?

I remember reading about this is a gaming magazine back then. Before I was a regular internet user so I didn't know about looking up things on the internet to keep up with information. I didn't know it got cancelled, as I had missed out on a lot of games and back then Walmarts and Gamestops where I was didn't carry games they didn't think would sell well. I just aways assumed it got released and I missed out on it, or I just forgot about it after awhile.

oh why did they cancel it? It would have been a good game it looks very creepy and there would have been plenty of jump scare moments
