It's because it was before a certain game update that made that combo no longer possible. Akuma has a combo in his trial thats also not possible in a real match or in practice in the latest version of the game. But during trials, the game state doesn't update like the live game so they're still doable

I have no idea what you're talking about. This game plays very differently. Going back to Tekken 7 after playing this was not fun. Heat mechanic adds a new element to the gameplay. What's annoying is the continuous nerfing of movement. It's really cool that they give you a lot more incentive to attack but with movement getting worse, it's annoying to just sit there and take it sometimes. Combo routes are infinitely better here than in T7 and it's great that they let you extend at the wall again. I understand not liking this game based on first impressions but calling this Tekken 7.5 is the biggest load of copium I've ever heard from this community lol.

@@seanlebron1He’s so fun. His combo routes are amazing. The one thing I hated about Tekken 7 is that you could not extend combos at the wall like in 6 & Tag 2. I missed so much being able to wall carry and then bound and I’m so glad it’s back. In terms of general gameplay, I think he’s so busted with Heat. Hwoarang pressure is already annoying enough to deal with but with Heat making you deal chip damage, you can eat away so much of your opponent’s health while they’re blocking and it’s really damn stupid how fast you can kill someone who’s being defensive. Game is still in Alpha though and I’m sure they’ll tune the chip damage in general and other stuff as well. There’s still a long way before this game’s release

Chun-Li is hella hard but her combos are sick. I still wanna learn her fireball loops. Charge characters in general are a nightmare to combo with
