@@astcadillacreview2767 have you driven the lyriq. It nice but I’m one person at the most their are 2 people in my car. I think it’s too large for just me. I’m hoping I feel the same ride quality with the optiq as I felt when I drove the lyriq. If so Im definitely getting one.

@@ericasuzy definitely have, it is so smoothe and quiet. I have yet to drive the Optiq. We have sold out of all of our Lyriqs and won't see more until March. Alot of the Optiqs are held up in Mexico at the moment.

Will the sport 2 or luxury 2 have the extra ac vents on the b pillars? I have been seeing this basic feature removed with the current IQs popping on dealership lots.

I will post updates as inventory becomes available and will make sure to point out where ventilation in the back is. It was in the ceiling before the refresh and the back passengers are a key focus for this model. I'm sure your pets will enjoy full heated and cooled air from the back. 🐕

@@hansfrancsco71 The ventilation in the rear comes from the back center consol for the second row and the roof for the ceiling for the third row.

@@astcadillacreview2767 I thought there would be ventilation from both the back center console and the b pillar center trim near the door for the second row. The owner’s manual showed it. Perhaps it would be reserved for the longer IQL because the refrigerator which was also shown in the manual is not available for the standard iq. I saw it on the parts store with 1407$ msrp. Since the IQL is still being tested it might have features that the standard IQ might not have to differentiate them.

I took one of these Lyrics out for a 1 hour test drive and it wasn’t as quiet as I thought it would be. Also those little plastic round knobs that adjust the vents are cheap looking and awkward for a vehicle like this. Finally, the door handles are gimmicky and I believe there will be issues with them in the future.
