If you're into quints, it's really amazing. If you're an SP person, I feel like the same art for all rarities is kinda lame, but I'm a low rarity foil person... so, for me, it's amazing. xD Do you plan on picking this up?

@BrownandWeiss I've gone through 6x boxes and pulled 1 lvl 0 Yotsuba combo and Yotsuba runner so far lol. I've done fine on other quality pulls but no SP's. Working on other decks so not putting much effort into EN loose boxes atm.

@sgmmgs2166 The cards are great. I I really like the guren and lancelot R* cards. The game is fun, but if you're not used to playing tcgs, it can be a lot to learn. I definitely recommend trying it, but if it's not your things, it's not your thing.

The core of the issue is Bandai ramping the release schedule up so much for the western version of the game. Releasing a set every month is insane, and it will continue to create issues like this moving forward. We have less time for events for each set, less time to get familiar with new cards and mechanics, less time to enjoy each specific meta, and less time to save up for the next release. It's just greedy and blatantly anti-player, and makes it difficult to maintain interest in the game or convince other people to play the game. The game is fun, but it's impossible to take it seriously as a competitive hobby imo. You hit the nail on the head at the end of the video when you mentioned people dropping the game. I've already gone back to playing other card games more because the schedule for this game is repulsive.

Yeah, the schedule is super rough right now. It looks to be slowing down January - April, which is much needed. Let's see what happens. I will say coming from weiss schwarz (a game with zero shop support) this is a new problem I never thought I'd see xD

I agree and disagree. I like there being a buy a box promo (the release event cards are kinda lame), but i also like shop winner cards as well. It can be hard to make it to a tournament, and some places don't even get one in their state. So, for me, I like these mini tournaments as a way to get a little of that competitive itch.

I will make a most ot pinned comment about this, but I found out why the stores were doing that in my area. 1 legitimately ran a rare battle, and no one showed up. The others ran that event because they did not get the release event promos and wanted to hand out something. Instead of just an iou, players get rare battle cards and later event promos when they come in.

Hi! Store organizer here. It is actually the store’s fault if they’re running the code geass rare battle before/ during the rare battles I scheduled the one for my shop in mid january to give the players time to get cards, yes bandai partially dropped the ball here but it’s 100% up to your lgs when things get ran on the TCG+ app. I’m not saying what I did is perfect but it just took whoever scheduled these events around your or whoever else’s area to pay s little more attention when scheduling things (sorry for the long post)

Don't ever be sorry for long post or ranting! I do the same all the time and love reading others' opinions. I didn't want to blame LGS's too much because I wanted to be fair to them. I know many shops running a ton of other events. I do kinda agree with your point, though. I blame bandai for putting a release in the middle of rare battles.

My local store is holding the release event and rare battle for Code Geass in the same event so everyone will use the cards they get from the release event for the rare battle. Then the next week they’re doing full constructed decks for the Code Geass rare battle.

I know some locals doing that as well. It's just really takes away from the release of code geass imo. It sucks to know get what all the other releases are getting. Plus, we don't get promos next month. It's rough for code geass fans.

@gizmoduck8979 I understand that point. The reason I bring it up is because it can be difficult to get a deck the same day as release. So, not having a starter deck makes that very difficult. It's also nice for very new players, but eh, it wouldn't have been a big deal for me if the rare battle situation/release thing wasn't going on.

I feel that pain! It's so expensive trying to collect and play these anime card games. I will say this set is super fun, and if you wanted to play this game the prize support is amazing, there's a decent number of players, and this set is very meta.

@warmastercollects the pull rates are okay. I low rolled this box. You usually get 2 1 star cards per box. In case you get 1 foil ap and 1 2 star or 3 star card. The 3 stars are hard to pull. 1 per 5 boxes. And there's a serialized version of the 3 stars that's worth quite a bit. There only 100 copies of that version.

The first 2 parts suck. Part 3 is soild. But for me, the show gets amazing halfway through part 4. Each part is a different character. Really wild show.

Depends on where you live. If you're in the US, you can get it on TCGPlayer and some card shops carry it. Tressas Collectibles is also really great, and I think they do international shipping as well.

It depends on what you value. You can cut the 3/2 leorio, 1 4/1 leorio, or a neon. I would choose the 3/2 leorio. I'm testing out a new version with the starter deck gon and running water divination. It's okay so far but is really inconsistent. I don't think it's better, but I'm still messing with it.

Yah.... you know it kinda just worked out that way. I wasn't feeling confident enough for a long time. I got some motivation, and this happens to be what I've been playing and feeling confident in. I do have a deck profile I want to do for weiss, but I have to work out the kinks.
