It was quite funny to watch honestly. How divorced from reality one has to be to seriously believe that the Ukraine is in a position to set the conditions? It is literally crumbling. And if someone believes the situation will change somehow by giving the Ukrainians more money and weapons, well it won’t cuz wars are not fought with dollar bills they are fought with soldiers and Ukraine is already has some serious problems finding those. There’s literally no other option but to negotiate with Russia. It can’t be defeated military. Ukraine is unable to do that and NATO namely the US is not going to risk starting nuclear war over who controls the Donbas. So what other options are there? The Ukraine should have negotiated a peace agreement and ended the war in 2022. Now two and a half years later it’s lost more people and territory and is in a much worser position than it was…

I have a hunch about why Irish people would talk and teach in Gaelic, but text and write and read in English. First, Gaelic was never meant to be written in the Roman alphabet; it was meant to be written in Ogham... In written Gaelic, all the vowels are interpreted 'wrong': they all are to be pronounced a different way frpù what they were meant. And already, in English they were frqom the original Latin pronounciation, so that makes two! Also, there is the fact that English is the new Lingua Franca, that succeeded Latin. So yeah, nobody in the world will be able to avoid English anymore. Unfortunately, that has as a consequence that almost nobody in the world is able to speak such beautiful English as Stephen Fry. You really should make an online course to teach pretty English pronounciation, Mister Fry! Please do!
