People crossing the camera is real irritant. The videographer should have been careful in camera placement. It is better to be heard than watched.

I was fortunate to listen live Pandit Shivkumarji during my IIT Bombay days in Jan 76 Mood Indigo Festival. It was a heavenly experience. Watching this video it rekindled my old memories.

Very interesting transition from madhya laya Roopak to drut laya Roopak starting just before 45:00; Simply amazing how Roopak is used throughout and how it is played during drut and ati drut laya in place of typically heard Teentaal or Ektaal. Thanks for sharing.

Only Pandit Anindo Chatterjee can play such teentaal speeds. One of the greatest maestros of tabla.
