Crazy thing is that Frankie has now passed, buy Quiet Riot still tours... and the bassist got replaced by Rudy Sarzo (again) because Sarzo is more well known for being in the band.

"Diversify" doesn't mean adding in women and blacks. It means removing normal men. Straight white men minus = diverse.

I absolutely despise TLJ, I walked out of that movie with a pit in my stomach. I didn't even bother watching the third movie. The Disney sequels were an absolute failure and will be completely forgotten over time.

Shane jokes, but Django Unchained is legitimately the better and more culturally relevant film then Black Panther was, while not being an attempt to launch another money-churning product to sell more merchandise and act like they’re helping society by making a mid-tier Marvel movie I will also say this: In Black Panther it’s established Wakanda has had Advanced Technology like fucking lasers and hovercrafts for centuries, secluding themselves within the heart of Africa and surveying the rest of the world in secret. If Django Freeman went to Wakanda and found out his ancestors were captured, tourtured, and enslaved (and by extension himself as he is of course a FREED SLAVE) all under the noses of Wakanda, and they did nothing to stop the oppression faced by Africans when they had the full capability to do so, he’d most likely shoot Black Panther in the face.

My impressionable '70s movies: Sorcerer, [1977,] Towering Inferno, Chinatown, All that Jazz, Monty Python's "The Holy Grail," Disney's The Muppet Movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Wiz, The Black Stallion, Slap Shot, The Rescuers, Bingo Long and his Traveling All-Stars, and Jaws (outside Star Trek and Star Wars) really affected my childhood, and in some cases helped with puberty.* My mom thought All That Jazz and The Holy Grail would be 'educational.' One was about stage life, and the other was a British 'drama' about King Arthur. I kicked and screened; I wanted to watch cartoons. HBO had just been made available in my region, and my mom told me to write a report about what I viewed. I was 8 or 9 (she wanted me to be a journalist, if not an actor.) I was going through a Different Strokes phase, and everyone was convinced I delivered "Wat u talking 'bout Wilis' better than anyone. Regardless, she went to work, and Dad was off fishing, and I wondered why I was born. To my joy and my mother's shock, I was enthralled. Grail had me shiting on myself. I had no idea those stick-up-their-ass Brits could be so funny. I thought this kind of humor was illegal. Then I recovered (wiped myself) and began watching Jazz. From that day forward, I knew my mom really loved me. TITTIES, TITTIES, TITTIES!!! Christmas came early! I couldn't tell you what the story was about. I remember the guy from Jaws was always drunk or smoking; he looked like a perv in the movie. But WOW! Who needed the Players and Hustler magazines when you could watch this? Ironically, my parents had never seen either movie. When we finally watched it together, my mom shat herself, my dad was suddenly very attentive to the screen giggling the whole time, and our dog kept wagging its tail every time the dancers were swinging those TITTIES! The rest of the movies were outstanding interludes, although I wanted to be Lando Calrissian for a short time.
