It’s a great resort. I just don’t think it’s worth the price tag that it is now. We’ve looked to return but it’s double the price for hotel and almost triple for the lake house. Yeah it’s an amazing hotel but there are better in that price bracket. You could do Mexico 5*…

@@GaryAbrahamActor The prices we were quoted for middle of September for a week was roughly £1300 each with jet2 but TUI wanted £1700. Yep your right about being able to go to Mexico five star for them prices.

Stayed Oct 2023. Lovely hotel. Lovely shops turn left at the entrance and left again u will find a lot of shops etc. Also trams r close and so cheap for day trips

Man, this is a blast from the past. We stayed here as a family for three weeks when I was 19, 13 years ago. The reception still looks amazing and the newer apartments on the side look really nice too, those weren't there yet back then. The food was really good, and there were a lot of other youngsters from all around Europe there too at that moment so it was a great time. The only real negative I felt back then was the pricing for renting a catamaran. It was two or three times as expensive compared to other places that we stayed at in Turkey before.

Hi Gary, great video 👍 learnt a lot, we are booked into this hotel for June 24. Just a tip for future videos it would be helpful if you said “what was included” going through the amenities and services. Which drinks were free, like are cocktails included, are drinks in the minibar charged, do you get a complimentary meal at one of the a la carte restaurants? Do they serve you drinks at the table in the main buffet restaurant?

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It’s a fantastic resort. Unsure I would stay in the main hotel again. I think it might be a few years before we can afford to head back. The price is over double what we paid for this year.

We stayed at the Fuentepark in April 2022 and we weren't very pleased. As you said in your video the furniture is a bit old, but that was not our main concern. During our stay the cleaned the apartments very bad. We had some dust on the floor which was not cleaned up, but only moved from one side of the room to the other side. Also we had an apartment at the upper floor and no roof at the balcony. During the morning it was freezing cold in the shadow and after the sun comes round, it was way to hot to sit on the balcony. Maybe we just were unlucky with the Fuentepark.

I do think it’s definitely a marmite property. I wasn’t happy at the cleaning and towels being cut down on replacing. But we tried to keep it clean as went along and asked for towels at reception and was always delivered to the room straight away. We’ve always been on the ground floor so been lucky.

Going to look at Turkey again - was a little wary for a few years with all the crap going on - had some great family holidays back in the day when Turkish people were not constrained by their secular choice of religious belief in my humble opinion. Lots of Turkish friends made on our 5 or so visits - great people!

We never experienced anything like that to be fair. I will be honest, I’ve never fancied turkey because of the same reasons, but there was no worries and we never felt unsafe once. The Turkish people want us there as its their economy, jobs and livelihoods.

Loving the video Gary - like you say cleanliness is key - and the rest (depending on your budget) doesn't matter. Refurbs cost money so would be passed onto the guests - how much I dont know. Shaun

Yeah, the cost is always pushed onto the consumer. But Corralejo is a growing tourist hotspot and if they don't keep up with the maintenance, care of the grounds and apartments, then people will eventually look elsewhere . Loyalty to a brand is only as good as the brand..

There was nothing wrong with them as such, I am pretty fussy with spirits. The Gin and Vodka were ok, whisky was nasty. My biggest issue was the price you pay for the branded.. 6 euros a shot and its not a EU shot, its more like a UK measure..

Thank you for making this video, we are from Essex and are going to this hotel at the end of the month, we usually go to Turkey and last time we stayed at the zeynap hotel and spa resort 😀 this looks just as wonderful, did you manage to use the spa at this hotel or was it shut because of covid? X

They have a little shuttle bus to the beach. It’s only a 5 minute walk if you wanted to walk. But it’s a bit of a climb. But the shuttle is great.
