The issue with this test is that you don't have a human standing there. A person would somewhat obstruct the sound from leaking out below. Also some of those wouldn't fit a human head either, in terms of covering it.
@Vocalboothtogo18 күн бұрын
@franflan1019 under the same conditions the comparative results would be the same with a person or without . Absolute results might be different, of course, but comparative pretty close.

Hi. Is it essential to glue the pipes. The reason I ask is that I am going to have to assemble and then take it down when not using it?
@Vocalboothtogo2 ай бұрын
@kevinstoneham1245 gluing the pipes provides stability of the frame. When we were filming we did ot glue the frame. So we could show different configurations. And the frame would go skew and sometimes collapse. In theory you can use duck tape to secure connections.

@thesilencer6736 what is your point? Why do you think it does not sound good? Did you try it? Or just passing judgments on something you don't know?

@@Vocalboothtogo It will sound boxy, due to its small size. You can’t beat physics.
@Vocalboothtogo2 ай бұрын
@thesilencer6736 it will not sound boxy, because the walls are not reflective. Different physics Laws apply here This is what many people do not realize. The logic of "small box sounds boxy" only applies to boxes with hard reflective walls A box made of a sound absorption material is actually " transparent " for sound. So the room is actually THE WHOLE ROOM where the booth is located. The booth simply prevents the reflecting sound from getting back to the mic.
@thesilencer67362 ай бұрын
@@Vocalboothtogo Not the low frequencies, those will still reflect. And it will sound boomy as well, not only boxy. I dare you share a test with the public, but don’t process it in any way. And do it in a room where there is no sound isolation underneath the walls. What’s the density of that material you use as absorbant?
@Vocalboothtogo2 ай бұрын
@thesilencer6736 i guess I have to reply to this just because other people are reading; it does not matter what is the length of a sound wave, reflection requires a solid surface. Porous and fibrous soft materials do not reflect sound You do not need to dare me to do a test. A prototype of this booth has been tested for two years by professional voice actors before we released it to the public. I video with actual test will be out soon..I asked a third party to do it.

@Vocalboothtogo3 ай бұрын
@JJ-qo9ik to fit the ventilation pipe in simply lift the bottom part of the wall or separate the two panels in a corner. We used to make a flap for ventilation, but it increased the prediction cost and was not practical. With current design you cam insert ventilation pipe anywhere it is convenient

Nice idea not practical enough, get a real singer or you just sing or scream not using that time speaker, common, no wonder, this video would have had huge amount of views.
@Vocalboothtogo4 ай бұрын
@BurningBushPedagogy the reason for using the recording is to assure the exact same volume and pitch every time . Real singer might sing loader or softer in repetitive recordings. There is no guarantee that a real person can do the same song 4 times in a row EXACTLY the same. Screaming make no sense, be v cause it does not have the frequency range we wanted to test for. ( besides the obvious consistency).
@franflan101918 күн бұрын
@@Vocalboothtogo Well you could put some sort of test dummy or person there, while playing the recording to see how much the girth of the person would prevent sound from escaping, at least in terms of the isovox where you can actually stand inside of it.
@Vocalboothtogo18 күн бұрын
@franflan1019 whattt??? Have you even seen Isovox? You cannot stand inside of it. The back panel hits you over the head. But regardless. All booths are in exactly the same set up. No person in any of them. Comparing how the girth of a person helps block the sound is an interesting one.
