I have watched sooooo many birth videos and birth stories and I’ve got to say I have never sat through the Birth Stories. I usually just get very bored as they just sit and talk out their experience because I’m just a more hands on or let me see kind of personality. But as I said I’ve just got to say that this is the first STORY that I actually listened to the whole thing the only thing I fast forwarded through is the beginning but once you got to the meat of your labor and delivery I listened to the entirety. You did such a great job with your story that I never once got bored and was completely enthralled in your story. Such a great explanation and keeping us entertained by your whole experience. Congratulations on your new baby. And I think that when your older daughter came to visit I think you are exactly right it can be very overwhelming when everyone is all up in your face and telling her to kiss the baby and hold the baby’s hand and all that jazz you are definitely right ya just want to yell at everyone and tell them in the nicest way possible to just back off and let her be natural and be herself. Maybe she didn’t feel the urge to kiss her right then maybe she just wanted to look and experience her sister her way not their way. Hind sight is 20/20 they say and it never does us any good but when we look back and do all the I wish I’d have done this or done that doesn’t help us but at least you got the at home experience with her and she got to be the big sister she felt comfortable being. I commend you for being the kind of mom that realizes your children have their own personality and their own preferences and the more we allow them to use them the better adults we make. This was SUCH kind feedback. I am the same way, unless I’m driving and listening to a podcast, I prefer to see the experience way more than hear about it. Very thankful for the small clips we did get along the way to bring it to life a little more and help make it easier to relive. That is also such s good reminder about letting them make their own choices when we can. My oldest especially is very strong willed and has big opinions and as challenging as it can be sometimes, I know it will serve her well so I needed this reminder to continue to nurture that. I am so happy you’re here! 🫶🏼

Hi thank you so much for this video! I am so happy for you that you got your rainbow girl 🌈 we have a 2 year old son, but have had two back to back losses 😞 I have really felt that the Lord promised me a second baby, the second loss really rocked my faith & made me feel so confused & lost. Its taken alot to come back from that valley but I am believing in what Gods word says! I have also had lots of blood work done & everything came back clear so i have progesterone & baby aspirin also, I'm very encouraged to hear it helped you alongside your outward acts of faith ✨ we are gonna try one more time so really hoping, believing & praying for our double rainbow & a sibling for our son. Mud rooms/laundry rooms are the second most important room in the house. The kitchen being the first for me. We just spend so much time in both of those rooms.

I just had my first miscarriage two weeks ago, it was a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. We were completely shocked and heartbroken. We are trying to conceive and praying it happens and is successful next time.
