I ordered the Mobal eSim and registered it at Haneda. I had previously downloaded many apps including navigation and translation apps to facilitate my activities in Japan. I had expected this solution to work as described. I was unable to get it to work. I could not get any help from the company. The best I could get was a robot response promise to get back to me within three days. After four days, no one had contacted me. This might be because the only way they could contact me was if their eSim worked, which it did not. It should be said that I also went online and tried to contact them through a computer only to get the same unfulfilled promise to get back to me within three days. The regular mail in Japan moves faster than three days. So most of what I had come to Japan to do was trashed because this service did not "serve". I will spare you the horrid details of how awful this experience was for me and just warn that you might want to consider some other eSim solution, one which will actually works and and has a customer service which will be there for you if it does not.

If you see the earliest pictures and depictions of the Ainu, they are very NON-Asian-looking, but the more recent photos (1920 on), a change took place, they begin to express a distinctive "JAPANESE" LOOK in their phenotype. This happens to every minority in every nation. The men of the dominant culture, ALWAYS seem to find their way over to the female sub-culture, leaving their DNA fingerprint behind.

I was there couple of weeks ago. My hotel was in Osaka near Dobutsuen Mae. I wanted to visit a beach. So I randomly chose to go to Ashiya. And I noticed, I was the only foreigner in those places (I did meet a Vietnamese girl in a bus later, but that was about it). People were helpful despite the fact that I was a foreigner. Like I was trying to find the right bus to get to the beach. One of the locals noticed that I needed help and she came up to me speaking in broken English and helped me get to my destination.

All of our ancestors walked with dinosaurs and stood on this Earth when our solar system had two suns. One was blue the other was Gold. We are all the descendants of planet Earth. We are the world we are the children. Please help these people so that one day we can meet our indigenous brothers and sisters.

The Ainu (word that means 'human' in the Ainu language) or Ainos are an ethnic group indigenous to Hokkaidō and northern Honshu, in the northern part of Japan, as well as the Kuril Islands and the southern half of the island of Sakhalin. . It's Russia. They are also known as ezo or yezo (蝦夷?) in ancient Japanese, and as utari (a word that means 'comrade' in Ainu), which is how they prefer to be called today.1 Today, there are between about 50,000 and 200,000 ethnically Ainu people (wholly or partially), both in Russia and Japan. The assimilation of a good part of the Ainu into other ethnic groups makes it difficult to give an exact figure of their descendants. They say they have Caucasian characteristics, in the past they said that some had eyes of the sea or sky and that their women were very hairy, which is why they mixed quickly. They could descend from Russian tribes that migrated to the east. The Ainu have very ancient origins and Caucasoid ancestors have been attributed to them; However, today they are related to the expansion of the first settlers of Asia and with the current peoples of Siberia and Russia, especially with the Nivjis of Sakhalin and the Koriaks or Koryaks of Kamchatka, they could be Aryans from there, ainos'Aryans'. ', who speak Paleosiberian languages, although the Ainu have their own genetic characteristics that demonstrate their ancient differentiation from the other contemporary populations of the region.2 These results agree with the geological and archaeological findings: the first settlers of Hokkaidō arrived during the last ice age ago. more than 18,000 years old.3 They differ from the majority racial group in Japan, the Yamato, in that they have much more body hair and their hair, although it is almost always black, is sometimes brown, a few formerly said to have blue eyes.

We are coming to Japan in September 2023. My son and his friend want to do the one day Mt Fuji climb and after they want to stay at a ryokan somewhere in that area. They want one that has tatami style rooms with private outside baths attached to the room. Can you recommend one?

Hi Bryan, without research I cannot say as I’ve never stayed in a ryokan in that area. Easiest way to find would be to use the Booking website and search for Yamanashi and use the filters to show Ryokan only, and those with ‘Hot Spring Bath’, then order results by customer highest reviews: www.booking.com?aid=1480690
