what is the highest stack possible? And what would be the highest score possible? Both within the rules, so each number used only 2 times, with correct placement rules, without expansions or house rules

A lot of great questions here! My highest score is 92 which had 1 tile placed on the 4th floor of the pyramid. All within rules, nothing added or taken away. A typical score would usually be between 65-75. It's always an interesting challenge NMBR9!

Thanks so much! Our most played game from the list is Akropolis which is fantastic with 2 players. Just so much replayability and quick to set up too. If you like medium weight games which are satisfying, I would look at Rise as it's got so many great combo's during your turn with simple enough mechanisms. I hope that helps!

Game Setup Hi there, some errors in the description: 1:34 Pillars: On the right most space, there you don't put a pillar -> you have two in your supply 2:25 -> 8 houses, placing 5 of them on the roof spaces on their Player Board, 1 in Tiletum ..... -> you don't need an action to put a house there (so everyone participates to the scoring in Tiletum) 6:45 / 7:25 Page 20 'Player Boards' it says, that not only the rooms but also the Emblem/Crest has to be placed to get the bonus 12:25 minus points -> difficult to get out ... -> but you are set back to '0' at the end of the round if you are at 'minus' on the kings track. 12:50 You can not put a character at any time in your house (just an emblem) Regards Tournesol

I've enjoyed this one a lot. I think the entire game design is beautiful, and it plays very smoothly. There's enough tension between players, at least at 3 and 4 players. Not so much at 2 but still enjoyable. Did you forget to mention that: you draw two cards after your first action, two cards after your second action, and the one remaining card after your third action? This is noted on each player board where you slide the top card in, as a reminder. Otherwise, you would quickly run out of cards. ;)

Yes I agree it feels best at 3-4 players, though with 2 players the area majority still works quite well too. I think I did forget to mention the draw two cards which is a shame as the board icons work really well here. Also I should have mentioned about the end of Era cards and the bonuses they offer. There is just so much to enjoy in this game! Thanks you for taking the time to watch this video, more videos incoming soon!

I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I look at a game and know I'm going to love it without even knowing the mechanisms. This happened to me with Terracotta Army recently.

It's a lovely mid weight game and has a real arc in the different strategies. The game play is smooth and I really like the decision process of which cards to buy & discard. Highly recommended Dan.

Heard you mention Planet B and Luna Maris on your friend's channel so i checked them out on BGG as i hadn't heard anybody else mention these. Planet B looks like my type of game 100%.Luna Maris though didn't give me that visual buzz,it looked more like a prototype to me.

@@BoardGamePix Def' got my eye on Sabika.Interested to see how long it takes you to learn a game like Planet B./Luna Maris.We all have different ways to do it.I tend to read through rule book without taking in every detail,then set the game up and have a 2nd read and hopefully it starts to click.I don't think i would win any prizes for speed though.
