I went there with my bro on the last day at One Ayala. It's just a small venue. I wanted to buy merch there but they don't have the Natlan ones. I really love Natlan. I attended the cebu Stand with Mavuika event at SM Seaside. It wasnt as crazy as what it was in manila from what I heard. I got all the freebies you did and I went with the archons deskmat (last years, not the latest one with mavuika) and the Furina picture frame. Also kazuha and raiden mousepads too! I got 4 raffle tickets in. Low chance of getting the bike 😅

Exactly! You can not like gacha and be against it and still criticize the FTC. One of the biggest things I still can't rack my brain around it the fact that they said Genshin hides the rates. Like are we talking about the same game? There is a whole page dedicated to explaining the rate at which you can acquire anything! I even saw some people defending the FTC on this.

its for my the diffents with other f2p games its that you can play all characters but you buy cosmetics in gacha the diffents its you not 100 procent sure if you get it and its than for characters and weapons most people outside find that the reason to hate on gacha also hoyo its the only one i know who put qol for exploring behind a paywall while other gacha try to improve with skip button no 50/50 on weapons ect but to give qol for exploring for free

But even the regular games has now moved on to have semi regular purchasable DLC which cost at least 2-3 welkin per dlc In a way most of current gatcha games has regular update, if it was a regular game then you will be forced to buy the dlc every 6 weeks And there is no way a parent will give their kid unlimited credit card at their disposal, In fact any credit card linked to kid devices should have a very small amount of money and If the parent notice increase spending then they need to talk to their kids. Not only at game spending but even for buying any items. I think the best solution is to actually have gatcha games rating be 16+ age and for it to be the standard among the globe If you check the age rating for games it’s different between each country. And there are some updates on the age rating occurring while games are already in the market, so a standard has to be implemented to include them or exclude them from the new rating system (do these games need to adopt the new game age requirement or not) Can you actually able to prevent kids from playing the game even if they are not within the age limit for the game. Is this the game or the parent or the child responsibility. I would be happy if there is any positive outcome happens after this complaint but as you said most likely there will be more warning and double checking of age/parental consent but a true change for the better is highly unlikely.

The glorious people of the US already fought against EA about lootboxes. Don't assume they started with Genshin Impact because you weren't following gaming news a couple years ago. There even was a meme "surprise mechanics" - which was the way EA tried to redefine lootboxes. And btw, microtransactions and gacha are different. Gacha specifically is gambling for characters with different power levels. Microtransactions is any type of ingame spending... I guess lootboxes are also a bit more general then gacha, they don't necessarily give power. Edit: quick google search and I've found no mention of FTC anywhere, though there were lots of lawsuits filed against EA for their lootboxes.

Please also rant about censorship in GI. I swear it has the most unnecessary visual censorship among Gacha games. Look at its competitors, both jigging and revealing outfits are more apparent.

i think people are too laser focus on "children should not have access to credit cards" and "it is the parents fault" and ignoring how predatory the system itself and genshin targets children like "hiring" content creators from minecraft and roblox... genshin should also be more transparent to its playerbase... we dont even know officially the exact odds of when radiance will happen... and all those numbers we got are all the work from the community and mihoyo itself didnt gave us the official numbers...

It's always good to have security features and regulations for things like games with microtransactions, etc. for better consumer protection overall. At the same time, as a Philippine mayor once said, "The law applies to all, otherwise none at all."

They went with Hoyo/Cognosphere first, now let's keep watch if they'll target Kuro next. Also, if we're talking about probabilities and rates of gacha, Tencent/Level Infinite's rates with Tower of Fantasy are muddier than the water in a dead swamp but they're not dominating the gaming industry or any western games at that so they don't care. I felt like there wasnt really a moment in natlan that was like focalors death, neuvilette pardoning the people of fontaine and the people surviving the flood. Those 3 parts of the archon quest really stood out to me. In Natlan we had the war, which was fantastic. But the final part in the night kingdom, to much up without much loss. I think either mauvika or traveller shoudve died and we use the ode of ressurection to bring them back to deal the final blow, that woudve been awesome. and the whole capitano thing. Yes very cool he cornered the shade of death, but like he kinda just walked and sit. its not a very epic moment
