The "last days" thing was Taylor saying he'd probably move away from the island one day in the worst way possible, and the giant signs comment was about Blades making a giant sign to welcome Bumblebee as he was visiting!😊

Ever since I thought about it more, I have come to realize a new head canon of mine. When they were talking about Orion tying himself into a knot, they weren't talking about getting any punishment for it from their supervisors like Darkwing, from which I assume they didn't get a punishment, even though it was stated that D16 had to spend 3 days with prying him open. Which means they missed 3 days' worth of work. So, my head canon here is that they didn't get a punishment from the guards because they were too busy laughing their T-cogs out of their bodies over those two idiots. I imagine the guard or resting station of the guards was loud from their laughing and re-telling of their story for many days if not for weeks after those two did that. And no one can tell me otherwise! 🤣
