I enjoyed this episode, especially her sharing her experience regarding having empathetic providers who will understand and help counteract social determinants of health. It is exciting to hear where she practices has all women & Black owned! The representation is needed. I hope those who hear this really take her recommendations to search for programs and shadowing opportunities early, so you don't miss out on them for lack of knowing. I'm an incoming D1 this year and I feel strongly that attending programs put on by the school helps show your commitment.
