Just a GoPro and a voice recorder. Video edited in Adobe Premier Elements. Good luck with your -12. Its a great airplane.

I have taken my Sonex Waiex upside down a bunch. Search the tube for Waiex 191! My son and I both have content. Besides rolls & spins, I've done loops, Immelmanns, Split-Ss, and hammerheads.

You mean he's not "pitching down"? I guess he is trying to maintain slightly positive g-force during the rolls in order to not starve the engine from fuel or oil.

@@jesusu.4647 correct. This plane is carbureted and doesn't have inverted oil. I need to maintain positive g all the way around.

When I do rolls in my Waiex, I'm pulling back a little bit at inverted to keep a half G or so. That is why you pull up at the start of a roll when you don't have inverted systems.

I don't think much of those silly-sod-coming-the-other-way obscuring sun-shades. Buy yourself some decent sunglasses (Rayban by choice) and a gliding-hat, which will prevent you being frightened to death by having someone part your hair coming out of the haze and sun, whose nose you are under. I was lucky, and saw the bugger, YOU may not be!

How are you enjoying the RV12. Do you find it a little light on windy days compared to the Cessna 172? Thinking of buying one this year.. Gord.

Gord Rose it’s not bad at all. Feels a little lighter but still very controllable. Have flown other LSA airplane that were a nightmare in windy conditions. But. It the RV12. I would fly in in any condition I would fly the 172. Go for it, you will love it.

Thanks for the review, but why did you give us a 1 minute (or less) of a review of your density filter and 8.5 minutes of a ride?

The entire video was shot with the filter on. I only spliced in some footage without the filter for a little bit. I should have explained that better.
