Hi, I bought this chair a week ago, but the part of chair where I sit feels a bit wobbly and slightly unstable. I just wanted to check if this has happened to you as well? It’s not excessively wobbly, but it’s noticeable and starting to annoy me. Thank you!

Had the chair since release and I either didn’t know or forgot about the armrest moving forwards/backwards. I’m 184cm and around 110kg and the chair already sagged, makes noise(lumbar support) and both armrests have their rubber cracked and pieces fall off. Will invest in a steel case gesture/leap v2 or Herman miller embody. I work from home, game and have online university so I sit 12h or more at the desk. Great review

I've tried it earlier myself on the IKEA store. I'm not so tall (173 cm or 5"7) but I do have a wide back and shoulders and I feel great on it! I can feel most of my body getting a rest on that chair. The head rest, even though it's not rotateable it can still be adjusted vertically to fit my laid back position so to me it's a win!

I am just leaving a comment because I love how attentive each and every one of your answers is to people's comments. I just bought this chair second hand but new for pretty cheap $130 and I'm just sitting in it for a few hours. Not sure if it's as comfortable as I'd like it to be. Not being able to fall back recline in it to rest up my psoas but instead having to slide forward to do it I don't like. I might get used to it, or if it's that big of a deal I'll give it to my brother or use it as a second chair and I'll go and get one that reclines . It looks sexy thouhg, I got the red one. Purple one is sexy as well.

3min later just watched another review and it showed that I can recline when I pull the lever on the right outside. Well that officially settles it - the chair is worth every penny.

Yeah the pain and dizziness has been with me for many ears. It took me 15 years to figure out it was actually not the neck per say but a combination of a tense neck and the masetter muscle in the jaw. I get so tense that i somehow press a nerver somewhere that i lose balance in half my body. The only way to get past it is to lay down for 2-3h and relax. When i wake up, it feels like a horse has stood on my neck But now i have a better grip of it and have some methods to relax the jaw (with stretches).

Terve Janne, I was wondering if you have had any chance to look at the new Ikea Grönfjäll chair, and if you could share your opinion on this new product? I fully understand that comfort and ergonomics are dependent on your height, weight and body style, but it would still be useful to have your opinion on the general product. I moved to Finland 3 months ago, and don't quite feel comfortable yet using second hand sites, so I'm mainly looking at Markus and grönfjäll ikea chairs at the moment. If you see this comment and have time to reply.. Kiitos :)

I'm not getting headaches exactly, but my brain feels a bit fuzzy at times, my eyes can feel cold at times. I've definitely been giving myself heavy duty tension in exactly those neck muscles by laying on my stomach to use my laptop at night, when I'm tired and want to relax. I'm 62. My really lovely hairs have been dropping out of my scalp like waaaaaaay too much. I think the circulation to my scalp gets cut off? I did rest that neck area on a towel wrapped bag of frozen corn and took an Advil for inflammation, tension relieved a bit but is still quite bad. I'll try the techniques presented here, like now.... edit: Oh my word, this has just saved my neck, and it felt really really bad today. I did all the techniques and it feels very nearly completely relieved. I was actually quite concerned I'd done some permanent damage. Thank you so very much!

Hello @sparra3819 and big thanks for your lovely comment! Yep, laying on your belly and maintaining posture with neck and upper back extensors might cause issues yes. I bet that hair thing is related to other stuff - how is your over all health been? I am preparing dizzyness coming from neck video and it will open up the thing - fuzzyness - once it's released so stay tuned! It's on worktable :) Once you have had 7 issues free days in row - drop exercises complitely. Then try to figure out what frequence you need to do maintenance to keep all symptomps away and then you are good to go!
