not even fair for JoyToy now if Joytoy would be the same size then lets see who's on top. It's much harder to get the fine detail's in smaller size action figures, So not a real good comparison

Mcfarlane has potentials. Honesty this one had potential its good looking and unique. Though i still prefer joytoy because i can create an army of my ultramar!!!

Thank you for this information.kinda new to collecting these. Was wondering the difference in versions Hope you’re able to fix the broken ball joint. Unfortunately it seems even in joytoy they are doing like so many other companies do now. Yeah they may give u a new set of hands or maybe little more articulation but no matter what the newest version of any figure nowadays looses out on the paint detail in stuff we used to get 15 to 20 years ago. One reason I like these figures is cause all the different paint and looks of these guys. But seeing how much better version 1 paint was compared to the v2 and v3 Really is sad to see. And v2 to v3 u only get different hands with even less paint then v2 and v1. and they call the best version etc. understand it cost to add paint on things but really price people pay for figures today there is no reason why we can’t get good articulation, detail, sculpt and paint. Over colored plastic Turing to look like paint and rarely you see shading in so many brands. One reason like these joy toys figures. They are painted so much better then Star Wars, gi Joe, etc etc. still just upsetting to see such a major difference in the paint from v1 to v2 then even less on v3. Just like rest of everything we buy today. The give you less and charge you more all while telling you it’s a bargain and better and bigger then before but rarely is that true

The thickness of the sword handle is pretty funny, especially compared to the small V2 hands. Guy looks like he’s holding a sword attached to a Coke can.

I don’t think this is necessarily based on the miniature you showed. I think they’re both just generic lieutenants with lieutenant level adornments.

Amulus resembles john cena more with those pointy cheek bones and sorrowful look. Lol

This is an old figure. Like not an old body just released it's literally old. I've had it for a long time as it was released way over a year ago.

Lieutenant Titus should get a paternity tests done for Amulius and Icastus. Jokes aside, I think the Titus look-a-likes maybe due to the delays that Space Marine 2 faced.

yeah v4 is out space marine 2 is v5 v4 long legs with normal pauldron (not the big pauldron) joytoy is a shite company if they perfected primaris it will sell like hot cakes but joytoy is joytoy

I see that Joytoy follows GW in the "there is never enough Space Marines lieutenants" approach :D ... btw I am relatively new to the hobby, would like to get the Castellan Crowe figure but the aftermarket prices are bit too high for me, how likely is that it's going to get restocked anytime soon?

JoyToy really put out a lot of nice figures this year. I particularly really loved Sigismund. The figure doesn't come with much, but definitely scratched my Templar itch.

I got a sugar fairy and it's my favorite Lego in the whole wild world

I got no real problems with this list. There were a lot of really good options this year. I would have probably subbed out the Deathwing master for Abaddon and the Sanguinary guard for Dante. But that's based mostly on my affinity for the characters. Also, I would have slotted the Tyranid Warrior in for the the Wolf Preator. A tough call, but leaving it off the list I can't do

Ultramarines and Iron Fists Legion Praetors are really good too. I have them with the Space Wolves one and i would put then in my top10.

Horus is the best, most detailed, clear winner

Horus is so detailed with so much love that it's really hard to hate him, comparing him with Russ is hard 🐺 They shown some Sisters of Silence, they look great! Can't wait for the other primarchs , a pity some daemons will probably be last, can't figure out how they would do Fulgrim [they could do Horus Heresy Fulgrim] since they annuncied his new tabletop top and he's PERFECT 🤩 PS. I'll never stop looking that Countach 🥰

Great job at selecting the nominees master chapter Sprues!! I think The Lion is the number one, for its insane detail and accesories, plus its a very cool character in the W40K universe. That face is horrendous. Especially for the price. The mcfarlane DC stuff is usually decent while also being at a lower price point, so idk how they messed up this bad.

just started my collection and Horus was my first purchase. Its an amazing model, I even magnatised the feet for extra stability and use 3d printing plates to display them on my shelf as they are a steel sheet on advesive magnetic base, makes different poses much easier

I really like the old school aesthetic going on with the legs. I don't think every figure needs a whole bunch of junk or detail covering every single piece of the armour. The one with the fate and doom embossing looks sick.

Brother Sprues, just adding to this review that the parchment on the right pauldron is better printed and has better colour consistency in the Blueberry MINIFIGURE of the bladeguard veteran I received today from Aliexpress. A lego minifigure is better printed than the ENTIRETY of this thing, and it feels less cheap by looking at it. Which is absolutely incredible, if you ask me.
