I install camera for a living, it is definitely not an easy thing to do. Every install is different and presents it own challenge since not every house is design the same. if you want to do a professional install, which means hiding all the wires out of site, it takes knowledge and a lot of work.

This looks such a tutorial and i bought everything on the list as this is exactly what i want to do. But im a bit confused about the 2 core live cable and switch cable set up. Does that mean its not on a radial set up? My upstairs lighting is not on a ring main so i dont think i would have this set up. I would guess if its radial i would have 3 core live cabling...

Your electrical advice is highly questionable, stick to what you know👍 won't endanger people then. A sparky

Great series of videos. We are building a similar sized gym and want to build as close to the boundary as possible. I thought we would have to build of concrete blocks. Is it PD all over England if you meet other requirements and put metal cladding on side near boundary? We are in Norwich. Thanks very much.

Could you go vertically first then horizontally from the lower socket? And do you have to be a qualified electrician to do this ? Can you run the cables loose behind the plasterboard without a conduit and what if you want to keep the new socket in the ring main rather than creating a spur?

Great video. Helped me a lot. Only problem I had was the tap tails were different lengths. I only noticed after I had thrown the old ones away 😂 Lesson learned......

Great job Bro, but in my mind was better to use the grey silicone around the part which was connected to the wall to make sure rain did not go anyway ,,,,,,, Thanks anyway

I’m new to spraying. I can’t find one good video on here on how to put the rubber gasket in the tip when setting the tip up they go to put the rubber gasket in They seem to zoom out. I know it’s simple once done, but the problem is I’ve never done it before.

I have a question: when I'm pouring the water out of the container to the bucket, do i close the valve again, or can i let the water continue to drip onto the towel until i place the container back in place?
@TheDIYGuy1Күн бұрын
Use a couple of containers or just use the towel

@thediyguy1 I have followed this tutorial however; two elbow connectors are leaking a bit. Any suggestions on how to fix easily and without ripping it all apart? Thanks
@TheDIYGuy1Күн бұрын
It all depends on where and why they are leaking. If it were me I would probably consider starting that section of the job again

Just came across your KZbin channel and your video showing the wiring layout is the same as mine but instead of com at the top it's L1 and L2 and 3 below. I have the BG electrical evolve single touch dimmer switch and on the back are, a symbol with a wavy line with an arrow through it, s.link and L connections. My question is does the black wire brown sleeve go into wavy line symbol, the grey wire brown sleeve and blue wire into s.link and 2 brown wires into L?

I'm about to fully revamp my garden. I'd like to see how to best convert from a low fence to a high perimeter of any kind, fence or preferably a wall with some kind of render. I also intend to start growing food, want to build a pergola over a new patio and eventually put in a new shed. This year, the perimeter, moss removal and LEVELING for new grass and patio/decked area are all planned. Lots to go on then

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if you would use the rake of the machine after you rake most of the moss, before applying tha moss killer? Would the rake of the machine go deeper and damage the lawn?
@CraigDavey-no6hq2 күн бұрын
why didnt you drill a small hole in the centre of the cut out behind the mirror, pull the cable through it and stick the cut out back in the wall so there's not a big hole behind the mirror!

Good helpful video. On a side note, the felxi waste pipe you have there, how does that replace the need to have a trap? Surely there is nothing preventing smells coming back up through the plug hole??
